摘要： A resin concrete composition comprising an allyl ether-modified unsaturated polyester, at least one ethylenically unsaturated monomer and an aggregate, 20% or more of the total dicarboxylic acid units in said allyl ether-modified unsaturated polyester being unsaturated dicarboxylic acid units, the ratio of the number of allyl groups/the number of molecules of unsaturated dicarboxylic acid in said allyl ether-modified unsaturated polyester being 1/10 to 4/1, and said unsaturated polyester having a number average molecular weight of 800-7000. Said composition is suitable for use as thick molded articles and excellent in low temperature curability and adhesion between aggregate and resin. The cured composition is resistant to crack formation and excellent in mechanical properties.

摘要： A dialysis unit and a dialysis apparatus employing the dialysis unit which can perform dialysis at a very high efficiency. The unit comprises a vast plurality of semi-permeable hollow fibers substantially equal in length, which fibers are gathered to form a bundle and bonded in liquid-tight connection at both ends portions thereof. This bundle of hollow fibers is loosely encased in a casing having a plurality of openings substantially uniformly distributed all over the casing. The dialysis unit is put in a dialyzate bath having therein a means for making a forced current of the dialyzate. The dialyzate flows into the casing through the openings and acts upon the bundle of hollow fibers from all directions. Accordingly, the dialyzate can flow freely inside and outside the bundle, while maintaining good contact between the dialyzate and the surfaces of the fibers, even in the inner portion of the bundle. Further, as the bundle is protected by the casing, the fibers will hardly break or hardly slip out of the bundle, even though a forced current of the dialyzate is applied thereto. Therefore, the dialysis can be carried out in a short time with high security.

摘要： Aquatic animals can be kept alive over a long period of time by utilizing the apparatus of the present invention comprising:a water tank for containing aquatic animals and environmental water, which tank has an inside volume large enough to contain the aquatic animals in an amount greater than 200 kg per m.sup.3 of the environmental water;a control path for containing a portion of the environmental water, which control path is located outside the water tank and is connected to the water tank through a windraw pipe and a return pipe line, while containing therein the following means:(1) means for controlling the temperature of the environmental water in the control path so that the temperature is maintained at a level as low as it is possible for the aquatic animals to exist,(2) means for bringing the environmental water in the control path into contact with air,(3) means for eliminating ammonia compounds from the environmental water, and(4) means for eliminating water-soluble organic compounds from the environmental water, and;a pump for recycling the environmental water through the water tank, the withdraw pipe line, the control path and the return pipe line.
