    • A method of forming a conductive pattern can form a conductive pattern where the aspect ratio of the height to the width is high with favorable electrical connectivity. The method includes a process that forms a first resist layer, which exposes formation positions of a conductive pattern, on a formation surface on which the conductive pattern is to be formed, a process that forms a first stage conductive pattern by carrying out plating at the positions exposed from the first resist layer, a process that forms a first stage protective film which protects the first stage conductive pattern, a process that grinds flat a surface of the first stage protective film and end surfaces of the first stage conductive pattern, a process that forms a second resist layer, which exposes parts of the end surfaces of the first stage conductive pattern more narrowly than the first stage conductive pattern, on the surface of the first stage protective film and the end surfaces of the first stage conductive pattern, and a process that forms a second stage conductive pattern by carrying out plating at the positions on the end surfaces of the first stage conductive pattern that are exposed from the second resist layer.

    • In the magnetic head, terminal sections for mutually electrically connecting layers in the multilayer structure can be formed without forming raising layers. The magnetic head having a multilayer structure comprises: an upper shielding layer; a lower shielding layer; a magnetoresistance effect element section provided between the shielding layers; a magnetic pole; terminal sections mutually electrically connecting layers of the multilayer structure; and a first low-thermal expansion material layer composed of an insulating material, and each of the terminal sections has a multilayer structure comprising: a second low-thermal expansion material layer composed of a material which is the same as that of the first low-thermal expansion material layer; and a plurality of electrically conductive layers.

    • A searchable encryption resistant to frequency analysis. A conversion rule management device generates a conversion rule table associating a search keyword with a conversion keyword group. Based on the conversion rule table, a data registration device generates registration data associating encrypted data with an encrypted keyword, and registers the registration data in a server device. An information processing device obtains from the conversion rule table a conversion keyword group associated with a specified search keyword, generates an encrypted keyword group, and requests a data search by specifying the encrypted keyword group. Using as a search key an encrypted keyword included in the encrypted keyword group, the server device searches for encrypted data associated with the search key, and returns searched encrypted data. The information processing device decrypts the searched encrypted data, and outputs as a search result search data obtained by decryption.
