摘要： An image stabilizer includes a motion estimation unit, a motion vector selection unit, a motion compensation vector calculation unit and an image compensation unit. A plurality of divided areas of a picture is projected onto a plurality of windows. The motion estimation unit extracts motion vectors from the plurality of windows. The motion vector selection unit selects an optimal motion vector among the plurality of motion vectors. The motion compensation vector calculation unit calculates a motion compensation vector using the optimal motion vector. The image compensation unit compensates an image of the picture using the motion compensation vector. Accordingly a sudden shift effect may be reduced when stabilizing the image.

摘要： The invention encompasses radiopharmaceutical compounds that can be used in imaging cell death associated with either apoptosis or necrosis. Phosphatidylethanolamine (PtdE) is externalized to the surface of apoptotic cells, and also becomes accessible in necrotic cells due to compromised plasma membrane integrity. Duramycin, a 19 amino acid polypeptide, binds PtdE at a 1:1 ratio with high affinity and exclusive specificity. Novel Duramycin-based radiopharmaceuticals and non-radioactively labeled compounds are disclosed herein. Such compounds facilitate detection of cell apoptosis and/or necrosis by binding to PtdE. The location of the bound compound can then be pinpointed using standard imaging techniques.

摘要： A system and method are set forth for remotely controlling a presentation from a portable electronic device so as to freeze a slide on a remote projector to permit searching for a desired slide on the portable electronic device and then continuing the presentation when searching is complete. In one embodiment, a switch is provided in a communication layer of a presentation application such that when the switch is turned off, communication is suspended between the portable electronic device and the projector, thereby permitting browsing on the portable electronic device without interrupting the presentation. When the switch is turned on the current slide information is transmitted from the portable electronic device to the projector.
