摘要： Polyaryl ethers which are stable at high temperatures essentially consist of(A) from 60 to 97 mol % of repeating units of the general formula I ##STR1## where l and m are each 1 or 2, or their C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkoxy, aryl, chlorine or fluorine derivatives which are substituted in the nucleus,(B) from 3 to 40 mol % of repeating units of the general formula II ##STR2## where n is 1 or 2, or their C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkoxy, aryl, chlorine or fluorine derivatives which are substituted in the nucleus, and furthermore(C) from 0 to 15 mol % of repeating units of the general formulae III and/or IV ##STR3## where Ar is ##STR4## or a C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkoxy, chlorine or fluorine derivative thereof, r is 0 or 1 and p, q and s are each 1 or 2, or their C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkoxy, aryl, chlorine or fluorine derivatives which are substituted in the nucleus.

摘要： Polyaryl ether ketones essentially consist of(A) 55-95 mol % of repeating units of the general formula ##STR1## where s and t are each 0, 1, 2 or 3 and Q and T are each --O-- or --CO--, or their C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkoxy, aryl, chlorine or fluorine derivatives substituted in the nucleus, and(B) 5-45 mol % of repeating units of the general formula II ##STR2## where Ar.sup.1, Ar.sup.2, Ar.sup.3, ar.sup.4 and Ar.sup.5 independently of one another are each a phenylene, biphenylene or naphthylene group or a C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkoxy, aryl, chlorine or fluorine derivative of this group, Q' and T' are each --O--or --CO-- and s' and t' are each 0, 1, 2 or 3, with the proviso that one or more of the groups Ar.sup.1, Ar.sup.2, Ar.sup.3, Ar.sup.4 and Ar.sup.5 are a biphenylene or naphthylene group or a C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkoxy, aryl, chlorine or fluorine derivative of such a group and, if Ar.sup.1 is a biphenylene group, all parameters s, t, s' and t' are not simultaneously 0.

摘要： High molecular weight polyaryletherketones are prepared by nucleophilic polycondensation of a bisphenol with a mixture of a difluoroaromatic and a dichloroaromatic by a process in which, in a first stage, the total amount of bisphenol and dichloroaromatic is added and, in a second stage, the difluoroaromatic is added. The resulting polyaryletherketones have a reduced viscosity of not less than 0.65 and contain from 0.003 to 0.03% by weight of organically bonded chlorine and from 0.003 to 0.03% by weight of organically bonded fluorine.
