      SOLUTION: In a valve device for opening and closing an opening and closing flow passage 34 (134, 234) formed on a valve seat 40 (140, 240) by a valve element 53 (153, 253) through a resin-made seat 62 (162, 262), a recessed part 61 (161, 261) is formed on either one of the valve element and valve seat, the resin-made seat capable of flat surface contacting with the other of the valve element and valve seat is mounted in the recessed part, the resin-made seat has a thickness protruding from the recessed part to allow the resin-made seat be compressed by closing valve operation of the valve element and the front end part of the valve element abut upon the valve seat.

      SOLUTION: The pressure reducing valve 10 includes: an input chamber 113 to which primary pressurized fluid is supplied; an output chamber 114 connected through a communication path 111 to the input chamber 113 from which secondary pressurized fluid is output; a piston 108 movable to an axial direction along the inner wall of the output chamber 114; a biasing means for biasing the piston 108 to the axial direction; and a valve 110 moving to the axial direction while being interlocked with the piston 108 to open/close the communication path 111. The biasing means is arranged in the output chamber 114, and formed as a coil spring 104 whose valid number of winding is n+0.5 (n is integer).
