摘要： An electrical assembly comprises a mounting bracket lift assembly and an electrical center. The electrical center is attached to the mounting bracket lift assembly for plugging wiring harness end connectors into the electrical center. The electrical center comprises a lower housing, a circuit board sub-assembly, an upper housing, electrical components such as fuses and relays that plug into the upper housing and a cover. The circuit board sub-assembly includes a power bus bar that provides a power path for the various electrical circuits of the vehicle via the circuit components carried on the circuit board. Three power bus bars that are configured, oriented and located to reduce the foot print of the electrical center and/or to improve the dissipation of heat generated by the electrical center are disclosed.

摘要： An electrical distribution center has a circuit board interposed between an upper housing and a lower housing. The upper housing has a panel provided with a universal cavity design by a multiplicity of terminal-receiving slots. The slots are arranged in laterally spaced parallel rows with the slots in each row in equally spaced apart relation to one another. Raised rails on the top side of the panel are parallel to the rows of slots and respectively occupy the spaces between the rows of slots. The circuit board has terminals extending into selected slots through the bottom side of the panel. The slots are adapted to receive the terminals of relays and fuses inserted through the top side of the panel for contact with the terminals of the circuit board. When the terminals of a relay are inserted in any of the slots, the relay body will be supported on rails on opposite sides of those slots. When the terminals of a fuse are inserted in any of the slots, the fuse body will fit down and nest between the rails on opposite sides of those slots.

摘要： The handle of a charge coupler includes a mechanical latch that securely mechanically locks the handle to the vehicle passively when the handle is manually attached to the vehicle by a human operator to create an electrical connection between the vehicle and the charger. The handle also has an actuator movable by the operator from a deactivated state to a first and a second position activated state. The mechanical latch operates independently of the state of the actuator when the handle is being manually attached but being mechanically released by the actuator when it is moved to its second activated state. A non-contact electrical switch means associated with the actuator breaks the electrical connection when the actuator is moved to the first position activated state before releasing the mechanical latch at said second activated position.
