    • A case for archery equipment includes, interengaging first and second case sections connected for relative movement between open and closed positions. The first and second case sections each include a wall for cooperatively defining an interior compartment when disposed in the closed position. The first and second case sections each including a set of reinforcing pillars which project into interior compartment. Each reinforcing pillar having a free end such that the free end of each reinforcing pillar affixed to the first case section is aligned with and engages the free end of one of the reinforcing pillars on the second case section. Each set of reinforcing pillars on the first and second case sections including at least one reinforcing pillar having an engaging contour including a first element portion and a complimentarily shaped second element portion.

    • A case for archery equipment includes, interengaging first and second half portions connected for movement between open and closed positions. The first half portion includes a first wall defining a first interior recess and having a first mating rim. The first half portion further includes a plurality of first supports formed in the first wall, and located within the first interior recess. The second half portion includes a second wall defining a second interior recess and having a second mating rim. The second half portion further includes a plurality of second supports formed in the second wall and located within the second interior recess. Each first support has a first longitudinal axis and is aligned along a common first axis which intersects each first longitudinal axis normally within and defining a first common plane. Each second support has a second longitudinal axis and is aligned along a common second axis which intersects each second longitudinal axis normally within defining a second and common plane. The first and second planes are parallel and offset in the open position and aligned in opposition in the closed position such that each first support engages each said second support in mating contact. A load applied to the case in a closed position is distributed among the first and second supports and the first and second mating rims, resulting in a protective zone defined by the first and second interior recesses.

    • A shelf panel for support of items made of an array of honeycomb-shaped cells, alternatively closed at opposite ends to create an array. The thickness of the honeycomb cells may be varied along an arch distribution with the shape of contemplated deformations. The array of honeycomb cells may be surrounded by a ring of alternatively configured cells to create regularly shaped shelf panels. The surrounding cells of a second thickness allow for possible stacking between two shelf panels including a cylindrical corner cell with a top cylinder able to accommodate a bottom cylinder from a second shelf panel. The surrounding cells may also include a wedge of the same geometry as the selected cell where part of the wedge is inserted in the cell and the other part of the wedge is a mechanical fixation means. Some circumferential cells may be adapted to be either a male or female interlocks allowing for two or more shelf panels to be interlocked if they are disposed adjacent each other on a same plane.

    • A gun case is provided having rigid walls for vertically storing and transporting a gun having a one or two piece wooden or plastic stock including rear stock and fore stock portions. The gun case includes an upper case portion matable with a lower case portion. First and second resilient cradles having, respectively, first and second U-shaped, angled channels are disposed within the lower case portion. The first U-shaped channel is adapted to support the gun in spaced relation from the walls of the case whereby the first resilient cradle will only engage the rear stock portion. Similarly, the second U-shaped channel is adapted to support the gun in spaced relation from the walls of the case whereby the second resilient cradle will only engage the fore stock portion. At least one lockable strap is preferably provided and is secured to the lower case portion for use in urging the gun into supportive engagement with the first and second cradles when the gun is disposed within the case.
