The child booster seat further includes a strap including a first end segment and a second end segment, and a coupling member attached to the second end segment. The strap is configured to couple with the seat body in a manner that the first end segment is retained in the receiving cavity and the second end segment is disposed to be extended through the opening in the seat body to dispose the first coupling member outwardly of the receiving cavity. The coupling member is connected releasably to the seat body so that the strap is operable to bind the seat body to the chair.
