摘要： An image recording/reproducing apparatus and a control method thereof to provide the functions of recording image files in a recording medium and reproducing and editing the image files recorded in the recording medium. The apparatus and method enables a user to easily select and manipulate functions of the apparatus using a menu display, and can record, reproduce and edit the image files according to the function selected by the user. The apparatus and method, therefore allows the user to easily select and manipulate the functions using a displayed menu, and more efficiently manage and easily search for the recorded image files.

摘要： A contents downloading system and a method thereof. According to the system, when a media device is connected to a detachable user terminal device, a device identifier is transmitted to the user terminal device from the media device. The user terminal device then transmits the device identifier to a server device that provides contents corresponding to the device identifier, and the server device transmits the contents selected based on the device identifier and an environment to download configured by a user. Since the media device is automatically connected to a specific website providing every kind of contents necessary for each media device based on the device identifier of the media device, the user can download the contents more conveniently without driving a web browser or selecting contents to be downloaded.

摘要： Provided are an apparatus for processing time information and a method of the same for automatically establishing a present time according to a country/region in a broadcast signal receiving device using time difference data obtained independently of received broadcasting signals. The apparatus includes a demodulation unit demodulating standard time data included in broadcasting signals, a first memory unit storing a time table, which includes time difference data of each country/region, and a control unit establishing a present time of a corresponding country/region by using the demodulated standard time data and the time difference data extracted from the time table. Time difference data is alternatively received via a transmission medium.
