    • An open top container having at least one side wall constructed of vertically disposed panels having horizontally extending corrugations or ribs lending beam and column strength to the side wall panels. The panels of that side wall can have an interconnecting slip joint permitting limited horizontal movement between the panels. One or more of the side posts of at least that side wall can have inner and outer sleeved sections permitting vertical movement of the bottom end relative to the top end while restricting horizontal movement and forces. The side post vertical movement permits the transference of portions of the vertical, load imposed forces from the top rail to the corrugated ribs of the side wall panels. The composite beam consisting of the top rail, bottom rail, corrugated panels and side post can be prestressed for additional advantages. Also, both walls of a rectangular container for maximum advantage should include the horizontal corrugations and the sleeved side post.

The top rail of at least that side wall can have inner and outer sleeved sections permitting limited longitudinal movement of the top rail to relieve the unit compressive forces on the top rail imposed by a load in the container. Preferably the slip joint is generally midway of the side wall and closely adjacent the top rail sleeved sections. Also, both side walls of a rectangular container for maximum advantage should include the horizontal corrugations, and slip joint and the top rail sleeved sections.

    • Mechanisms are provided for monitoring a process of a data processing system. With these mechanisms, a notification of an event comprising information regarding the event, and a process running in the data processing system that generated the event, is generated. It is determined whether one or more key performance indicators (KPIs) have been defined for an element corresponding to the process, in a model of the data processing system. In response to one or more KPIs not having been defined for an element in the model corresponding to the process, new KPI definitions are generated for the element in the model corresponding to the process based on specified default KPIs. The new KPI definitions constitute an extension of the model of the data processing system to thereby generate an extended model of the data processing system. The extended model is then used to monitor an operation of the data processing system.
