    • An oven for electronics manufacturing including a heated chamber having openings at each end to the ambient environment wherein heated air is circulated by a centrally located fan to pass over workpieces in a substantially upward (or downward) flow. Equal temperatures at the entrance and exit ends of the heated chamber are promoted by a crossover air return arrangement in which a portion of the air from each end of the heated chamber is mixed with the air from the other end of the chamber as the circulating air is drawn into the fan for recirculation. In addition, a moveable shutter mechanism is provided at the entrance end and exit end of the heated chamber to adjust the air flow at the ends of the heated chamber. The shutter mechanism operates to selectively close off an adjustable portion of the heated air flow at the ends of the heated chamber. A closed loop control system maintains equal temperatures and air flow at the opposite ends of the heated chamber by periodically adjusting the shutter mechanism position in response to the measured temperatures of the air immediately outside the entrance and exit ends of the heated chamber.

    • The present invention is directed to an eyeglass device that has manually variable prisms to correct strabismus; that is, double vision. The variable prism eyeglasses consist of an eyeglass frame that holds two primary rings in position and provides baseline reference points for alignment. Prism lenses and corrective lenses fit inside the primary rings and allow the two prism lenses of each primary ring to rotate independently and to hold the corrective lens fixed in place relative to the primary rings. Detent channels on the upper surface and lower surface of the primary rings are the means by which the prisms are adjusted. Each prism lens is moved and positioned via a prism lens pin located in the base of each prism lens. The prism lens pins fit into the detents in the detent channels of the primary ring. The detent selected determines the amount of corrective power the prisms will produce.

    • An automated screener in which print and flood squeegees are sequentially driven across a stencil screen framed in a chase. After a print stroke, the print squeegee is retracted and the chase is raised a short distance to make contact with the flood squeegee, which is driven in a flood stroke, whereupon the chase is raised further to an open position for removal of the stenciled workpiece. Means are provided for adjusting the print and flood squeegees and for limiting upward movement to predetermined levels during operation of the screener. Particular details relate to an arm carrying the print and flood squeegees over the chase screen. To prevent relative vertical movement between the chase and arm, both are pivoted around a common axis. Translation of the arm across the chase is accomplished by connection to a motor drive chain by means of a hingedly connected pin bearing member which permits the arm to be readily released from the chain when the arm is swung away from the chase.

    • A Positive Displacement Metering Systems (PDMS) using a Water Fill Cylinder (WFC) is provided. It will replace or be paired with an existing conventional water meter. The primary advantage of the PDMS is its ability to detect and measure “micro” flow rates. The PDMS allows the water utility to bill for all water consumed by the customer. The PDMS will only allow 100% detectable flow rates to pass through the water meter attached. Flow rates which are undetectable, or only partially detectable will be accounted for. The PDMS will report the sum of the two meters to the utility. The PDMS will also function as a leak detection device and water conservation tool, will perform automatic or remotely controlled functions like turning off water, when a high flow leak is detected, and report directly to the water utility or tenant of the property being monitored.
