A sensing circuit monitors the paths and may indicate failure of one of the paths. The sensing circuit, may, for example sense the net impedance of the plurality of paths and note an alarm in the event of an increased or decreased impedance, indicative of an open or short circuit along either path.

摘要： An optical arrangement in a laser scanner for generating a cross bar X laser light beam scan pattern includes a multi-faceted or -mirrored optical device mounted for rotation about a vertical axis. The device has four primary mirrors oriented ninety degrees from one to the next about the vertical axis. The primary mirrors are tilted about respective horizontal axes relative to the vertical axis and adapted to receive and reflect a laser light beam as each primary mirror moves successively through a portion of each rotational cycle of the optical device. The optical arrangement also includes a multiplicity of secondary mirrors disposed in stationary positions relative to one another and to each of the primary mirrors as they move successively through the rotational cycle portion. The secondary mirrors are adapted to receive the laser light beam reflected from the primary mirrors and to reflect the same to trace scan lines of the laser light beam scan pattern at different orientations with respect to one another as the primary mirrors move successively through the portion of each rotational cycle.

The chips which can contain directories, manuals or other materials that may be available for convenient access. The chips which are not easily copied may be economically distributing. Interchangeability of the chips is enhanced by a novel chip replacement system. The chip replacement system enabling a precise and easy way for the user of an electronic device to change a computer chip which is utilized in the electronic device. The chip is mounted onto a removable door in a manner to ensure proper placement of the chip and that proper forces are utilized to fit it within a chip socket. This system is particularly applicable to electronic appliances where a computer chip is used to carry large amounts of data and replaced from time to time.
