摘要： A method of treating a movement abnormality associated with the pathology of a neurological movement disorder, such as Parkinson's disease or Restless Leg(s) Syndrome by administering a therapeutically effective amount of a PDE7 inhibitory agent. An aspect of the invention provides for the administration of a PDE& inhibitory agent in conjunction with a dopamine agonist or precursor, such as levodopa. In another aspect of the invention, the PDE7 inhibitory agent may be selective for PDE7 relative to other molecular targets (i) known to be involved with the pathology of Parkinson's disease or (ii) at which other drug(s) that are therapeutically effective to treat Parkinson's disease act.

摘要： Results of medical tests for sexually transmissible diseases (STDs) or other medical conditions such as drug use are posted to a registry site accessible by a subscriber and any authorized guest of the subscriber. The medical test results are associated with a verification of the subscriber's identity. The verification may be in the form of a driver's license number, or other indicia of identification, recorded when a test sample was drawn by a testing lab affiliated with the registry site. Results of the test performed by the testing lab are automatically posted to the registry site, along with the customer ID assigned to the subscriber when registering with the registry site, and the verification of the subscriber's identity. Subsequently, the subscriber and any authorized guest or prospective sexual partner can access the subscriber's test results and the verification of the subscriber's identity by entering a predefined password or other access code, thereby enabling the guest, who may be a prospective sexual partner, to verify a medical condition asserted by the subscriber.

The solution preferably includes at least one tumor necrosis factor (TNF) soluble receptor at dilute concentration in a physiologic carrier, such as saline or lactated Ringer's solution. The solution is applied locally and perioperatively to a surgical site during a surgical procedure for preemptive inhibition of pain and while avoiding undesirable side effects associated with oral, intramuscular, subcutaneous or intravenous application of larger doses of the agents.

摘要： A method and solution for perioperatively inhibiting a variety of pain and inflammation processes resulting from arthroscopic surgery at a joint. The solution preferably includes multiple pain and inflammation inhibitory agents in a physiologic carrier, such as saline or lactated Ringer's solution. The solution is introduced luminally to continuously irrigate an operative site during an arthroscopic procedure for preemptive inhibition of pain and inflammation while avoiding undesirable side effects associated with oral, intramuscular, subcutaneous or intravenous application of larger doses of the agents. One preferred solution to inhibit pain and inflammation includes a serotonin.sub.2 antagonist, a serotonin.sub.3 antagonist, a histamine antagonist, a serotonin agonist, a cyclooxygenase inhibitor, a neurokinin.sub.1 antagonist, a neurokinin.sub.2 antagonist, a purinoceptor antagonist, an ATP-sensitive potassium channel opener, a calcium channel antagonist, a bradykinin.sub.1 antagonist, a bradykinin.sub.2 antagonist and a .mu.-opioid agonist.
