    • The present invention relates to a multimedia search method for searching multimedia objects using color histogram. The present invention provide a multimedia retrieval method and a multimedia feature structure capable of accelerating accurate and efficient multimedia object search by adopting various meaning reflection level according to each bin value of the color histogram. In the present invention, the color groups are classified into the solid, neutral, and gray levels, and the binarization standard point is determined at each color group such that the color distribution can be effectively represented in the binary histogram, resulting in improving the retrieval performance of binary color histogram which is a shortcoming in the conventional binary histograms in addition to remaining the high efficiency of the binary color histogram.

    • Embodiments of a video telecommunication system are provided that can obtain a background scene desired by a user by automatically changing a background scene into a different background scene. The system can include a background picture synthesis unit and a background scene separation unit that can separate an object to be transmitted and a background scene except for the object in a picture in a process of transmitting/receiving data including at least the picture. A background picture database can provide a background picture to be transmitted instead of the background scene. The background picture synthesis unit can synthesize the separated object and a new background picture (e.g., selected from the background picture database). A picture transmission unit can transmit a synthesized picture synthesized by the separated object and the new background picture.

    • An air conditioner includes at least one indoor unit and a wired controller connected to the indoor unit through two lines to receive power from the indoor unit and to perform data communication with the indoor unit.     • The present invention relates to a monoclonal antibody that specifically binds to vascular cell adhesion molecule-1 (VCAM-1 or CD106). Specifically, the present invention relates to an antibody that specifically binds to both human and mouse vascular cell adhesion molecule-1 (VCAM-1), a method for producing the same, a composition for diagnosis or treatment comprising them and a method for diagnosis or treatment using them. The monoclonal antibody of the present invention is the first recombinant monoclonal antibodies that is specific to human and mouse VCAM-1. In addition, the monoclonal antibody of the present invention shows a strong affinity to VCAM-1 expressed in rat skeletal muscle and porcine endothelial cells as well as human and mouse endothelial cells and is found to strongly inhibit the interaction between leukocytes and activated endothelial cells. Accordingly, the monoclonal antibody of the present invention can inhibit a VCAM-1 mediated adhesion of leukocytes to endothelial cells and potently treat VCAM-1 mediated disease, especially inflammatory disease or cancer.
