    • A handover method includes an evolved mobile switching center (eMSC) that receives a relocation request from a first network and forwards the relocation request to a second network requesting the second network to establish its own media plane association. The eMSC establishes a media plane association with the second network. The eMSC instructs a user equipment (UE) to access the second network. With the handover method, the UE may be handed over between different networks by using the eMSC. A method for reattaching a UE to the eMSC is also provided so that the UE can be reattached to a target eMSC when the eMSC to which the UE is attached is changed. A handover apparatus and a handover system are also provided.

    • An emergency call method includes the following blocks: a User Equipment (UE) sends an emergency attach request that establishes an emergency indication to a System Architecture Evolution (SAE) network; the SAE network selects an emergency call service entity for the UE after receiving the emergency indication; the UE sends an emergency call request to the emergency call service entity after getting attached to the SAE network emergently; and the emergency call service entity establishes an emergency voice bearer, whereupon the UE makes an emergency call according to the established emergency voice bearer. Through the method for simulating a Circuit Switched (CS) emergency call by means of an emergency call service entity in the SAE network, the emergency call service can be implemented in the SAE or Long Term Evolution (LTE) packet network.

    • The present invention discloses a method for processing location information request initiated by a User Equipment (UE), which comprises: a target UE requests a Central Network (CN) for location information; the CN obtains a location estimate of the target UE and sends the location estimate of the target UE to a Visited GMLC of the target UE. According to the present invention, when the target UE requests the network with the Location Service system for location information of the target UE, after receiving the location estimate of the target UE from the Radio Access Network, the CN provides the location estimate of the target UE to the V-GMLC at first, and the V-GMLC provides the location estimate to the target UE through the CN after processing the location request, so that the V-GMLC can obtain the processing information of the location information request initiated by the target UE, and furthermore V-GMLC can correctly charge the Mobile Original Location Request initiated by the target UE.

    • A method for handling a Deferred Location Request, including: a Location Service (LCS) Client initiating a Deferred Location Request for a target UE to a Requesting-Gateway Mobile Location Center (R-GMLC), the R-GMLC forwarding the Deferred Location Request to a Home-GMLC (H-GMLC), the H-GMLC assigning a Reference Number for the Deferred Location Request, and sending the Deferred Location Request to a Core Network (CN) via a Visited-GMLC (V-GMLC); when a deferred event occurs, the CN submitting a target UE location report and the Reference Number to the H-GMLC via the V-GMLC, the H-GMLC returning the target UE location report to the LCS Client via the R-GMLC. Since the H-GMLC is the home GMLC of the target UE, the Reference Number assigned by the H-GMLC may ensure that different Deferred Location Requests initiated for a same target UE may be exclusively differentiated, such that Deferred Location Requests for the same target UE initiated by the LCS Client through different R-GMLCs may be normally processed, which effectively solves the conflict in the handling process of an LCS and satisfies the demands of service operations.
