    • Methods, systems, and computer readable media are disclosed for simulating a circuit. The method may comprise a step of providing a network model of the circuit having a plurality of ports, the plurality of ports being associated with one or more net pairs. The method may also comprise combining the plurality of ports into one or more groups based on the net pairs, each group corresponding to a net pair. In addition, the method may comprise calculating, for each group, one or more expansion elements, wherein the one or more expansion elements are associated with a shared property among all ports of the group. Moreover, the method may comprise simulating the circuit using a combination of the expansion elements calculated for each group.

    • Method, system, and computer readable medium are disclosed for analyzing electrical properties of a circuit. The method may comprise: providing a network model including at least one network parameter, the network parameter being defined over a frequency range; converting the network parameter into an intermediate network parameter having first and second portions; identifying first and second frequencies defining a frequency sub-range; replacing the first portion of the intermediate network parameter with a DC value when a frequency associated with the intermediate network parameter is lower than the first frequency; replacing the first portion of the intermediate network parameter with a transitional value when the frequency associated with the intermediate network parameter is within the frequency sub-range; and converting the intermediate network parameter with the replaced first portion into an updated network parameter.

    • A novel semisynthetic route has been provided in the preparation of docetaxel and paclitaxel. This new process involves the conversion of 9-dihydro-13-acetylbaccatinIII to docetaxel and paclitaxel by the step of converting 9-dihydro-13-acetylbaccatin III into 7-O-triethylsilyl-9,10-diketobaccatin III, and adding docetaxel and paclitaxel side chain precursors, respectively, to form a new class of taxane intermediates, such as 7-O-triethylsilyl-9,10-diketodocetaxel and 7-O-triethylsilyl-9,10-diketopaclitaxeltaxel. These new intermediates then by a series reduction, acetylation of the 10-hydroxyl position for paclitaxel and finally deprotection to yield docetaxel and paclitaxel, the most important anti-cancer drugs.

    • A method of measuring slider resistance of different types of row bar with a common tester comprises judging the type of the row bar, if the row bar is femto-type row bar, supplying a first voltage to the front pins, and supplying a second voltage that is unequal to the first voltage to the back pins, thereby obtaining resistances of the sliders; if the row bar is shunting-type row bar, supplying a third voltage to the front pins which contact the test pads, and supplying a fourth voltage that is unequal to the third voltage to the front pin that contacts the common test pad, thereby obtaining resistances of the sliders. The present invention can measure two different types of row bar with a same common tester, which can reduce the downtime of machine and the manpower, and prevent the probe card from being damaged without a frequent disassembly and switch.

    • A controller for controlling dimming of a light source includes a detector, a dimming signal generator coupled to the detector, and a pulse generator coupled to the dimming signal generator. The detector can detect a startup phase of a burst dimming cycle of the light source and can generate a triggering signal when the startup phase ends. The burst dimming cycle includes an ON period and an OFF period. The dimming signal generator can trigger the ON period of the burst dimming cycle for a predetermined duration in response to the triggering signal. The pulse generator operable for generating a pulse signal to control a current through the light source can be enabled during the ON period and disabled during the OFF period.
