    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and method for separation recovery of carbon dioxide, enabling the carbon dioxide to be separated and recovered from a material gas, without reducing the concentration and recovery rate of the carbon dioxide.SOLUTION: The apparatus for separation recovery of carbon dioxide includes: adsorption columns 11-13 filled with adsorbent for adsorbing the carbon dioxide; a material gas introduction pipe 14 for introducing a material gas containing the carbon dioxide into the adsorption columns; a cleaning gas supply pipe 19 for supplying the adsorption columns with a cleaning gas to increase a ratio of the carbon dioxide adsorbed by the adsorbent; a vacuum pump 16 for desorbing the carbon dioxide from the adsorbent; and a recovery gas exhaust pipe 18 for exhausting the carbon dioxide from the adsorption column as a recovery gas, the cleaning gas supply pipe supplying a portion of the exhausted carbon dioxide to the adsorption column as the cleaning gas. The apparatus for separation recovery of carbon dioxide further includes dehumidifying means 21 for dehumidifying a portion of the exhausted carbon dioxide, and a portion of the dehumidified carbon dioxide is introduced into the adsorption column as the cleaning gas via the cleaning gas supply pipe 19.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adsorption tower and a gas separator which can efficiently separate a target gas composition which is a gas composition contained a mixed gas and is to be used.SOLUTION: An adsorption tower 1 for separating a target gas composition from a mixed gas by pressure swing adsorption has plural adjacent gas separation chambers 14a to 14d, the adjacent gas separation chambers having airtightness and being partitioned by a partition member 12 for conduction of heat between the adjacent gas separation chambers, and adsorbent layers for adsorbing the target gas composition on both sides of the partition member 12. The tower has two circuits of gas passages, in which among two kinds of gasses comprising the mixed gas supplied in an adsorption process and a desorption gases comprising the target gas composition desorbed in a desorption process, one gas is flown in one gas separation chamber and the other gas is flown in another gas separation chamber adjacent to said one gas separation chamber.
