    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conical dehydrator capable of realizing high dehydration efficiency without increasing the compressing pressure and the compressing time.
      SOLUTION: The conical dehydrator comprises a dehydration plate 9 having water permeability, a conical casing 1 perpendicularly provided on the dehydration plate 9 rotatably with a space therebetween, and having a sludge throw-in port 2 in an upper part, and blades which are spirally fixed to an inner face of the casing 1 coaxially therewith with a lower end leading to the dehydration plate 9. The sludge thrown into a center part of the casing 1 from the sludge throw-in port 2 is compressed in the step of pushing out the sludge toward an outer circumferential side of the casing 1 by the blades 10 rotating on the dehydration plate 9, water is discharged from the dehydration plate 9, and dehydrated cake is discharged from the entire outer circumference of a bottom part of the casing.

      SOLUTION: This vertical agitator is provided with: the bearing part having a grease injection hole 25 injecting grease into a bearing 20 set at the bearing part; a grease discharge hole 27 discharging grease inside the bearing 20; a grease discharge belt 28 for discharging the grease in the grease discharge hole 27 in the grease discharge hole 27; and a drive means 30 for driving the grease discharge belt 28. The drive means 30 is preferably provided with a grease recovering means 34 for recovering the discharged grease from the grease discharge hole 27 by the grease discharge belt 28.
