摘要： An image-receiving element for use in photographic and photothermographic diffusion transfer film units of the type where the image-receiving element is designed to be removed, or “peeled-apart” from a photosensitive element following exposure and photographic processing. The present image-receiving element comprises, in sequence, a support, an image-receiving layer and a strip-coat layer which serves to facilitate separation of the image-receiving element from the photosensitive element after photographic processing. The strip-coat layer comprises an anion of poly(acrylic acid), or a salt thereof, complexed with a cationic quaternary salt. In a preferred embodiment, the strip coat layer may include an ethoxylated alcohol.

摘要： The present invention provides for photoluminescent optical fibers that are used to illuminate sighting reticles. The fibers are activated by electromagnetic radiation and emit electromagnetic radiation of various wavelengths at high intensity and for long periods of time. The emission from the photoluminescent fiber can only be seen coming from one terminal end of the fiber, which is designed to be positioned inside the sighting device to illuminate a reticle. The photoluminescent fiber contains a base optical fiber which is covered at least in part by a photoluminescent composition which itself is fully covered by a second composition that allows the activating electromagnetic radiation to pass through to activate the photoluminescent layer while preventing the emissive electromagnetic radiation of the photoluminescent layer from passing back through.

摘要： There are described novel photographic processing compositions, film units and processes for use in diffusion transfer photographic systems. More particularly, there is described a method for forming a diffusion transfer image photographic processing of diffusion transfer photographic film units in the presence of hypoxanthine and inosine. Diffusion transfer photographic systems utilizing the novel photographic element or method of the present invention exhibit substantially fewer, if any, crystals on the final image of the finished photograph post-processing.
