    • Motor vehicle seat back comprising a structure, a headrest, a headrest, a support, a slide, a return element and a lock. The structure comprises at least one socket. The headrest comprises at least one stem mounted so as to slide in the socket between a high position and a low position. The stem has a curve. The support is mounted on the structure through an articulation element having at least a degree of freedom to rotate about an axis of orientation. The slide is connected to the stem and capable of sliding relative to the support in a direction of sliding. The return element is interposed between the slide and the support and biases the headrest towards its low position. The lock has an active state in which it is capable of holding the headrest in the high position and an inactive position in which it releases the headrest.

    • A vertical member support stand is described which includes a body with a generally tubular vertical member receiving cavity. The cavity has a bottom, a top opening, and circumferential sidewalls. At least three upper pressure members are substantially equally spaced around the circumferential sidewalls of the vertical member receiving cavity adjacent the top opening. The pressure members are pivotally mounted whereby they are pivoted into engagement with a vertical member positioned in the vertical member receiving cavity. At least three lower pressure members are substantially equally spaced around the circumferential sidewalls of the vertical member receiving cavity adjacent the bottom. The pressure members are pivotally mounted whereby they are pivoted into engagement with a vertical member positioned in the vertical member receiving cavity. The pressure members are locked in a selected pivotal position such that they securely hold the vertical member.

    • An apparatus allowing the use of low-grade solid fuel powders (coal, lignite, peat) and products derived therefrom during cold starting periods and for backing up combustion chamber operation at low load. The pilot burner (1) has an auxiliary and pilot igniter which burns gas produced by gasifying low-grade fuel in a gasification unit (6) and a main igniter which burns the low-grade fuel powder in a storage silo (5). The combustion air is heated in an air heater (10) by the gas produced by gasifying low-grade fuel in gasification unit (6). In particular, turbulence is set up in the combustion air sent to the outlet of the pilot igniter. Application to combustion apparatus including steam generators of thermal power stations.
