    • The invention relates to a method for supporting a transmission of data packets from a node attached to a mobile communication network to a first unit. In order to enable a second unit providing or forwarding the data packets to the node to influence the QoS for the transmission, it is proposed that the method comprises transmitting data packets of a specific data flow from the node to the first unit using a quality of service treatment which is selected based on a quality of service treatment associated with a quality of service identifier. The quality of service identifier is inserted by a second unit to each packet of the specific data flow. The invention relates equally to a terminal equipment, to a node, to a mobile communication network and to a system comprising means for realizing the proposed method.

    • The invention relates to transfer of packet data from a first subsystem via a network node in a second subsystem to a terminal in the second subsystem. The method includes negotiating identifiers identifying a data flow of the first subsystem via a separate signalling element during the set-up of an application-plane logical connection of the terminal. The identifiers are transmitted from the signalling element to the network node. In the method, a filter is generated at least on the basis of the identifiers for directing the mapping of at least one data flow of the first subsystem to at least one data flow of the second subsystem. The filter is bound to at least one data flow of the second subsystem, and at least one data flow of the first subsystem is mapped to at least one data flow of the second subsystem on the basis of the filter.
