摘要： A digital camera system and method that automatically maximizes television viewing area when a television is used to view images stored in or transferred from a digital camera. A test signal or image comprising a beacon is output from the digital camera and is displayed on a television screen. A user points the camera at the television. Firmware that runs on the digital camera moves the test signal and beacon horizontally and vertically towards respective edges of the television screen until the beacon is lost at each edge, and determines or calculates how much viewing area is available on the television screen. The autocalibration firmware then automatically adjusts the size of images sent from the digital camera to the television to maximize the viewing area on the television while minimizing cropping or clipping of the images.

摘要： A system and method embodied in a digital camera coupled to a television that cooperate to calibrate and optimize images displayed on the television. The digital camera is provided with a video output port, an image sensor, a display, a lens and processing circuitry. The digital camera stores a television color bar. The digital camera has autocalibration firmware comprising a user interface that is used to automatically calibrate the video signal sent from the digital camera to the television. The firmware, by way of the user interface, prompts the user to point the camera at the television. The digital camera outputs the color bar by way of the output port to the television, which is displayed. Once pointed at the television, the image sensor views (images) the color bar displayed on the television, and the firmware automatically detects the imaged color bar. The firmware automatically adjusts (calibrates) the video signal output to the television until an optimal displayed image has been achieved.

摘要： The invention described herein relates to a therapeutic, moisturizing coating composition for elastomeric articles which is applied directly onto the skin-contacting surface of the article as part of the manufacturing process. The coating composition is thermally stable and subsequently hydrates when contacted with a moisturized skin surface to convert into a liquid “lotion” form during wearing of the article. The coating composition provides therapeutic benefits to the wearer's skin as a result of wearing the article, such as improved skin moisturization, softness of feel, improved skin elasticity and firmness, and reduced redness and irritation. The invention is particularly useful in medical gloves, including examination and surgical gloves.

摘要： A pesticide composition includes a pesticide component. The pesticide component is an herbicide and is mixed with water for commercial and residential application. The pesticide composition also includes an alkylphenol ethoxylate surfactant and propylene glycol, which increase the effectiveness of the pesticide component. The pesticide composition further includes a thickener component having a terminal group formed from a 1,2-linear alkyl epoxide having from 16 to 18 carbon atoms. The thickener component includes the reaction product of a combination of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide, 1,1,1-trimethyolpropane, and the 1,2-linear alkyl epoxide. The thickener component modifies rheological properties of the pesticide composition to reduce a tendency of the pesticide composition to disperse when sprayed, to reduce a potential wind-drift of the pesticide composition, to increase a shear viscosity and retention, and to increase a rain fastness of the pesticide composition, resulting in a decrease in costs and potential environmental pollution.

In a preferred embodiment, a group of pictures (GOP) is obtained and decompressed, producing an initial decompressed GOP. This initial decompressed GOP is spatially shifted to at least two shift positions. At each shift position, MPEG compression and decompression are applied, producing a resulting decompressed GOP for each shift position. The resulting decompressed GOPs are shifted back to their initial position and combined, preferably by averaging, to form an improved GOP.
