摘要： The present invention discloses novel nitrogen-hydrogen based atmospheres for sintering steel components in continuous furnaces with consistent quality and properties while prolonging the life of the wire mesh belts, reducing maintenance costs, and improving furnace productivity. Specifically, it discloses the use of a controlled amount of an oxidizing agent such as moisture, carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, or mixtures thereof along with nitrogen-hydrogen atmospheres. The amount of an oxidizing agent added to the nitrogen-hydrogen atmospheres to pre-condition belt material prior to its use for sintering and to sinter steel components is controlled in such a way that atmospheres become oxidizing to the belt material but reducing to steel components being sintered, specifically in the high heating and cooling zones of continuous furnaces.

摘要： A system and method for performing high performance quantizer processing of sensor data in a multiple-channel quantizer system. A reset prioritization scheme is provided for current sources connected to an integrator in the multiple-channel quantizer for preventing saturation of the various quantizer channels. The reset prioritization scheme determines the channels most in need of a reset to prevent saturation based upon predicted quantizer signals to appear on the channels during the next processing cycle of the quantizer system. This method of controlling the reset processing permits significantly higher acceleration capacity by preventing quantizer channel saturation in system utilizing accelerometers. The quantizer processing method further includes an improved calibration scheme for self-calibrating the various channels in a multiple-channel quantizer to account for multiple sources of error, including quantizer bias, asymmetry between applied positive and negative resets, and voltage scale factor of the quantizer channel in calibration.

摘要： Polyester aminoalkylalkoxysilanes are provided by effecting the Michael addition reaction of an unsaturated conjugated polyester having a molecular weight of at least 1000 with an aminoalkylalkoxysilane. The said polyester aminoalkylalkoxysilanes have utility as adhesion promoters between inorganic siliceous materials and organic resins. When the inorganic siliceous material is glass cloth or fibers, the polyester aminoalkylalkoxysilanes have dual utility as (a) a size or protective coating for glass cloth or fibers and (b) an adhesion promoter between said glass cloth or fibers and said organic resins. Also provided are polyester aminoalkylalkoxysilanes that are formed by the linear chain-extension of an unsaturated conjugated polyester with an organic diisocyanate prior to the Michael addition of an aminoalkylalkoxysilane.
