    • Methods, systems, and products are disclosed for processing calls. A dialed digit string is received and analyzed to determine whether the dialed digit string is a complete string according to a dialing plan of a service provider. If the dialed digit string is a complete string, then the call is sent for routing to the dialed digit string. If the dialed digit string is not a complete string, then it is determined whether the dialed digit string is a valid string according to a calling party's personal dialing plan. If the dialed digit string is valid, then a number is retrieved that corresponds to the dialed digit string according to the calling party's personal dialing plan. The call is then routed to the number.

    • Selected embodiments of the present disclosure provide systems, methods and media for receiving prospective indication information and processing the received prospective indication information to generate result information. In certain embodiments, among others, a user is prompted to provide the prospective indication information, and at least a portion of the prospective indication information is converted into a common measurement system format and subsequently balanced in combination with other prospective indication information in the common measurement system format to generate balanced combination result information. In some embodiments, the processing further includes generating a result communication based at least in part upon the balanced combination result information, identifying a recipient for the result communication based at least in part upon the balanced combination result information, and transmitting the result communication to the recipient. Using almost any type of communications device, a user may gain access to, view, and make changes or modifications to profile information related to the services. The changes may be made quickly and efficiently, but accuracy and thoroughness in the implementation of the changes are not sacrificed. Further, the changes to the communications services are implemented almost immediately and without involvement by the service provider.Particularly, profile information about the telecommunications service is stored on a server in a data network. A change action relating to the profile information may be received at the server from a data device (such as a wireless unit) operating on the network. The change action is implemented on the profile information to result in changed profile information, which may be provided from the server via the data network to the telecommunications system.

    • The functionality of Advanced Intelligent Network (AIN) components and Internet-based resources are integrated to provide simultaneous visual and telephonic access to an interactive information delivery system. The present invention enhances conventional Interactive Voice Response (IVR) systems by simultaneously providing visual information that corresponds to the voice-based information that is delivered telephonically. A user that contacts a conventional IVR service provider (IVR host) can be provided with the option of a Visual IVR (VIVR) session. The VIVR session can provide visual information to the user in the form of HTML-formatted web pages delivered over an Internet connection and will provide audible message information over a conventional wireless or wireline voice telephone connection. A VIVR session can coordinate the delivery of visual information (e.g., web pages) and the delivery of telephony-based information (e.g., audio file playback) such that the user hears an audible message on the telephone that corresponds to the information displayed on a networking device. The user may provide instructions to a VIVR Server over either the telephone or the networking device. The VIVR Server will respond to instructions received by either the telephone connection or the Internet connection.
