    • A communication method uses a dual-modem Mobile Equipment (ME) that includes a cellular modem communicable with a cellular system and a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) modem capable of WLAN communication. The method includes registering a Media Access Control (MAC) address of a Terminal Equipment (TE) connected to the cellular modem over a WLAN. The method also includes receiving data from the TE with the registered MAC address at the WLAN modem through a WLAN interface, and transferring the data to the cellular system through the cellular modem. Thus, even a TE with no cellular modem equipped can perform data communication over the cellular network and the pre-registered TE is allowed to transmit and receive data through an ME with a WLAN modem, facilitating efficient use of the limited resources, and the user is allowed to set priorities of TEs, making it possible to ensure QoS of each TE independently.

    • A storage medium including meta data for providing an enhanced search function on AV data supporting multi-angle, and a reproducing apparatus and method for reproducing AV data from the storage medium are provided. The storage medium comprises moving picture data for supporting multi-angle; and meta data for providing an enhanced search function on the moving picture data, wherein the meta data is defined according to scene, and comprises information regarding at least one search keyword to be applied to a corresponding scene and information regarding an angle supported by the corresponding scene. Such meta data further includes information regarding a start location and a reproduction duration time of the corresponding scene. As a result, an enhanced search function can be realized according to scene, character, actor, or search criterion which a producer arbitrary defines, with respect to moving picture data supporting multi-angle.

    • Disclosed is a process for processing an MAC-hs PDU (Protocol Data Unit) in an HSDPA (High Speed Downlink Packet Access) communication system, transmitting at least one PDU (Protocol Data Unit) received over a physical (PHY) layer to an MAC (Media Access Control) layer in an HSDPA (High Speed Downlink Packet Access) communication system, includes an HS-DSCH (High Speed-Downlink Shared Channel) decoder for decoding the PDU at intervals of a first period during which the PDU is received from the PHY layer, and storing the decoded PDU in a first memory; a second memory for storing a control table containing position and number information of the PDU, and performing a reordering queue operation on the basis of the position and number information of the PDU; an HSDPA (High Speed Downlink Packet Access) controller for reading the PDU from the first memory, storing the read PDU in the second memory, monitoring the second memory during a second period which is longer than the first period, updating the number of PDUs stored in the second memory, and transmitting an interrupt signal to a reordering queue distributor at intervals of the second period; and a reordering queue distributor for reading the position and number information of the PDU from the control table upon receiving the interrupt signal from the HSDPA controller, and transmitting the PDU stored in the second memory to an upper layer.
