摘要： A joint scheduling apparatus and method for increasing frequency efficiency and fairness in a multi-channel distributed antenna system using frequency reuse and common control power. One of a Base Station (BS) or Relay Station (RS) are selected to transmit packets to a Mobile Station (MSs), taking into account Quality of Service (QoS) in one of a BS and an RS and grouped into packet groups. The packets are selected from the packet groups, links corresponding to the packets are grouped into a link group, a joint power control is performed on the link group, link elimination and link addition are performed for the link group until optimal solutions are achieved for the links group, channels are allocated to the links when the optimal solutions are achieved for the links, and the status of a user queue is updated.

摘要： A method of controlling power in a Base Station (BS) of a cellular system using wired Relay Stations (RSs) includes the RSs and the BS individually performing scheduling of packets to be transmitted to Mobile Stations (MSs) in respective areas of coverage, the BS increasing a difference between a sum of signals to be transmitted and a sum of interference signals according to a scheduling result, guaranteeing a minimum amount of data to be received by each MS, and calculating a power allocation solution of each MS, which satisfies a condition that the power allocation solution is in a range of allocatable power, which was pre-set by each of the RSs and the BS, and the RSs and the BS performing sub-channel allocation and power allocation according to the power allocation solution satisfying the condition.

The steps include classifying all mobile stations (MSs) in a corresponding cell based into Cooperative Transmission (CT) MSs for cooperative transmission and Single Transmission (ST) MSs for to each channel; mapping channel-by-channel channel capacities of the CT MSs and ST MSs classified according to each channel, selecting a channel with a highest priority, and receiving a request message from a corresponding MS according to whether the capacity of the selected channel satisfies preset CT criteria and selecting an MS having a metric value of a highest priority according to a corresponding scheduling algorithm, from among multiple requesting MSs.

摘要： A scheduling method in a distributed antenna system is provided. Each of a plurality of Mobile Stations (MSs), respectively corresponding to each subchannel, are classified as a Single Transmission (ST) MS or a Cooperative Transmission (CT) MS according to a CT criterion. An MS with a maximum channel capacity is selected from among the classified MSs. Resources are allocated to a corresponding subchannel when the selected MS is the ST MS, and resources are allocated using a CT scheduling technique when the selected MS is the CT MS. The classifying, selecting and allocating steps are repeated until allocation of resources is completed.

摘要： A method and apparatus for transmitting data to an Access Point (AP) and a Mobile Station (MS) in a Time Division Duplex (TDD) optical repeater. A main donor generates a control frame for controlling a remote, upon receipt of data from the AP, and transmits the control frame to the remote during a non-downlink transmission period. The remote analyzes the control frame received from the main donor, detects sync information about a downlink signal and an uplink signal, and remote control information from the analyzed control frame, performs a control operation according to the detected remote control information, and generates a status frame for notifying the main donor of the status of the remote upon receipt of data from the MS. The status frame is transmitted from the remote to the main donor during a non-uplink transmission period.
