    • In a multi-band U-slot planar antenna, a limited ground plane is provided. A connector includes a ground terminal connected to the ground plane and a feeding terminal for feeding a signal. A planar radiation device includes a feeding point connected to the feeding terminal, a central U-slot having a symmetrical configuration about a central axis thereof, the central axis extending vertically from the feeding point, and at least one pair of auxiliary U-slots symmetrical with each other about the central axis. In the multi-band U-slot planar antenna, alternatively, at least one auxiliary U-slot may have a symmetrical configuration about the central axis.

    • Provided is a method for manufacturing an antenna which is minimized and used in a low frequency band. The method includes forming and preparing a radiator for an antenna, mounting the radiator inside a dam molding part including an upper dam molding part and a lower dam molding part, injecting a molding material into the dam molding part through an inlet provided at one side of the dam molding part, the molding material including a composite material with a controlled diameter and content, hardening the injected molding material, and separating the hardened molding material covering the radiator from the dam molding part. Accordingly, a miniaturized antenna can be provided, which can achieve a high integration density, prevent deformation of the radiator caused by external pressure generated in processes, and be used in a low frequency band by covering the radiator with a molding material having a high permittivity and a low-loss characteristic.

    • Provided a wideband chip antenna in which the outer surface of a dielectric or magnetic body block is surrounded by a conductor. The wideband chip antenna comprises one or more slots or slits that are formed on the top surface of the wideband chip antenna and of which predetermined portions are opened; one or more slits that are formed on the bottom surface of the wideband chip antenna and of which predetermined portions are opened; and one or more windows that are formed on one or more side surfaces of the wideband chip antenna by opening predetermined portions thereof. The wideband chip antenna can simultaneously transmit and receive signals at various bands, and the size thereof can be reduced. Further, the resonance property of the antenna can be easily adjusted, and a wider bandwidth can be secured.

    • A chip antenna, which is used for a mobile communication terminal, local area networks (LAN), or at blue tooth (BT) band, includes: a base block made of one selected from a diaelectric material and a magnetic material and including an upper surface, a lower surface, and four side surfaces disposed between the upper surface and the lower surface; inverted F-type first conductive patterns formed on a part of the base block; inverted L-type second conductive patterns formed on another part of the base block and connected in parallel with the first patterns; and parasitic elements spaced from the first and second patterns by a designated distance and forming an electromagnetic coupling with the first and second conductive patterns.
