A sealing member is disposed proximate the edge of the GDL and extends outward toward the edge of the MEA, thereby defining a discontinuity between the GDL and the sealing member. A protector member is disposed between the MEA and the GDL such that the protector member traverses the discontinuity.

摘要： A telephone answering system which can be interconnected to a telephone line and includes two tapes, one of which is utilized for recording incoming messages from the telephone line, and the other of which is used basically for playing outgoing messages onto the telephone line. The outgoing message tape includes a plurality of tracks each of which can be selectively placed in communication with the telephone line. A decoding apparatus is responsive to numerals dialed onto the telephone line by the caller with which the caller can select the particular track to be placed in communication with the telephone line and thereby receive the particular outgoing message contained on that track. By dialing an additional number, the caller can also change over the operation of the outgoing message tape to a record mode whereby he can utilize that tape for also receiving incoming messages from the telephone line and cause the message to be placed on a particular selected track.

摘要： A fluidized chamber with a coarse layer of refractory particles and a fine layer of refractory particles along with a fluidizing gas inlet connected to a fluidizing gas supply. The fluidizing bed does not have a distributor and fluidizing gas is passed through the fluidized bed at a flow rate to fluidize the fine layer particles but not to fluidize the coarse layer. Preferably, the fluidized bed is a heat treating furnace, the fluidizing gas is combustible and objects to be heat treated are fed through the fluidizing chamber on a continuous basis. A method of operating a fluidized bed is also provided.

摘要： A metal cutting tool having an indexable cutting insert retained in an insert pocket of an insert holder. The cutting insert has two opposing side surfaces with a peripheral edge surface extending therebetween and a plurality of cutting portions.
