摘要： Systems and/or methods are provided that facilitate surveying media sources in a media entertainment system. An index component can provide an index of a set of available media sources in the media entertainment system. In addition, a selection component can displays the set of available media sources and receive selection requests for a subset of the available media sources. Further, a preview component can display a sample of media generated by the selected subset of media sources prior to active engagement thereof. Moreover, one or more aspects can be implemented in a vehicle entertainment system.

摘要： Dynamic illumination of a dynamically configurable graphical display associated with a vehicle information system is described herein. By way of example, the graphical display can include at least one light pipe configured to propagate light within an interior portion of the light pipe, and at least one light source that emits light to the light pipe. The light pipe can include a display surface coupled to the graphical display. In addition, a control circuit is provided that can obtain a vehicle characteristic and/or user input associated with a vehicle system and alter the light source and/or characteristic of the light pipe based thereon. Accordingly, the illumination system can dynamically change illumination characteristics of the graphical display based at least in part on concurrent vehicle characteristics ( e.g. , vehicle speed, engine rotation, temperature, lighting, and so on) or user input, or both.
