摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide demodulation with high quality and demodulation suitable for mobile reception. SOLUTION: A received OFDM signal is transformed from the time domain to the frequency domain by Fourier transformation 12, and a vector array for each carrier in the frequency domain is provided. Required dispersion and terminal pilot signals are extracted from the vector array 13, transmission line characteristics related to the dispersion/terminal pilot signals are estimated by dividing them with a modulated complex vector 15, and transmission line characteristics related to the information transmission carrier of a segment for synchronous detection are estimated by interpolating these transmission line characteristics 16. Meantime, the vector array provided by Fourier transformation is delayed by one symbol 17, an interpolated output is selected in the case of segment for synchronous detection, but a delayed output is selected in the case of segment for differential detection 18, the synchronous detection or differential detection is performed 19 by dividing the vector array by the selected output and additional information and digital information are provided 20 by demodulation 20.

CONSTITUTION:At first frequency intervals DELTAf1, DELTAf2 of a carrier of 1st and 2nd OFDM modulation signals are set equal. An interval fbfa between a maximum carrier frequency fa of a 1st signal and a minimum carrier frequency fb of a 2nd signal is selected to be an integral multiple of DELTAf=DELTAf1=DELTAf2. A symbol clock phase of a 1st OFDM modulation signal and that of a 2nd OFDM modulation signal are locked to each other thereby making ideally symbol switching position of the both coincident with each other. Then the setting above is made to set a value N of NDELTAf=fb-fa to be an integer being one or over, then a DFT window applied discrete Fourier transformation to the 1st and 2nd OFDM modulation signals, then the relation of the 1st and 2nd OFDM modulation signals is set to be a relation as shown in figure. Thus, no interference disturbance is caused between them.

CONSTITUTION:The packets are successively fetched by each frame buffer circuit 3 and at the same time a fact whether each lateral packet is corrected or not is decided by a lateral decoding operation. This deciding result is given to each packet and then the longitudinal codes of each packet are decoded. In this case, only the bit of the packet including a decoding error is corrected by the lateral decoding operation. Then a fact whether the lateral decoding is given to the packet having a decoding error and this error is corrected or not is decided by the first lateral decoding operation. In such a way, the lateral decoding accuracy is improved for a decoding circuit.

Then a bit stream is extracted through a BCH coding circuit 23, an interleave circuit 24 and a frame synchronous code addition circuit 25 sequentially.

A cold cathode array image pick-up element can be manufactured by combining on the same board.

Then a data storage state of the buffers 25A1, 25B1 is monitored at a packet interval and when one packet or over is stored the packet is read, and in other cases, a null packet from a null packet generating section 25A2, 25B2 is selectively outputted and a switch 26 is used to introduce it selectively.
