    • PURPOSE:To remove magnetic fluid that is scattered and mixed in the vacuum exhaust gas and to prevent the deterioration of performance of the vacuum exhaust pump by providing a trap, to which the centrifugal force is applied, as a part of the vacuum exhauster. CONSTITUTION:Two annular pole blocks 9 that are opposite to each other are provided inside of the cylindrical case 8 in the stator side so that exhaust gas from the aperture of the ring cover 4 of magnetic substance, which corresponds to the outer circumference of the exhaust tube 3, is led to the vacuum pump 16 through the exhaust port 14 provided in the case 8, and the exhaust gas is discharged through the space among plural bar magnets 10 that are bridged between both the opposite end faces of the pole blocks 9. The trap 17 by which magnetic fluid is removed from the exhaust gas is formed between the stator side outlet and the exhauster. The main body of the trap 17 is the U-shaped tube 18 of non-magnetic material, which is a part of the vacuum exhauster circuit, and the magnet 19 is placed in the outer circumference of the bottom of trap 17 so that the magnetic flux, which passes N and S poles of the pole pieces 20 opposite to each other, traverses the flow passage of exhaust gas. In this way, the deterioration of performance at the exhaust pump can be prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent heat infiltration into the cryogenic liquid with a simple construction by means of a stepped part or a tapered section provided on the inner surface of a rotary liquid feed tube. CONSTITUTION:As a cryogenic refrigerant 6 flows into a rotary liquid feed tube 2 from a fixed liquid feed tube 1 as indicated by the arrow, the liquid produces a centrifugal force with the rotation of the tube 2 so that the flow thereof shifts to the larger diameter portion along the inner surface of the lquid feed tube 2 with an aid of a stepped part 8. Therefore, in the rotary clearance 5, a thrust develops in the direction of the dotted arrow due to the flow of the liquid moved outward in the radial direction by the centrifugal force, and controls a circulating current between the gaseous phase part and the lqiudi phase part caused by a gas flow moving inward in the raidal direction depending on the difference in the density of gas in the clearance 5. This can reduce heat filtration into the cryogenic liquid due to this circulating current and helps prevent the heat from filtration into the liquid without particular consideration given to the flexural rigidity and the dimensional accuracy of the rotary liquid feed tube.

    • PURPOSE:To make the supply of magnetic fluid automatically and promptly operable, even without operating a process to lower the gas pressure with a running ceased of the rotary machine. CONSTITUTION:Two ring-shape ball blocks 2, that surround a rotary shaft 1, are supported to inner circumferential face of a fixed casing 4, and a magnetic unit cylinder 6, facing to inner circumferential face of the above described block 2, is engaged to be installed to the rotary shaft 1, and in the portion of a ring-shape fine protrusion 7 of this cylinder 6, is intermediately placed a magnetic fluid 15 to perform the sealing operation. In this case, with a seal of the portion of the magnetic fluid 15 damagd by any reason and the pressure of a space 11, 13 equalized to transmit an elimination of pressure difference between pressure detectors 22, 23 to a comparator circuit 21, a pluse is transmitted from a pulse transmitter 20, and fed to a pulse motor 18 through an amplifier 19. In this way, an injection device 16 is actuated till a pressure sensor 24 detects a sealing pressure reaching the prescribed value, and the magnetic fluid is fed from a feed path 14.
