摘要： An electronically controlled sewing machine to produce stitches and to change the relative position between the needle and the fabric to be sewn. The sewing machine comprises a first memory (ROM1) storing pattern data including the data for producing straight stitches, pattern selecting means selectively operated to select a set of pattern data of such data stored in the first memory and a second memory (ROM2) storing automatic setting information each specific to the selected pattern and controlling commonly the stitches of the selected pattern. An operator control means adjusts the control of the automatic setting information with respect to the stitches of the selected pattern and a calculating means receives the output of at least one of the second memory (ROM2) and the operator controlled means (VR1, VR2) to calculate the stitch coordinate to each of the stitches of the selected pattern.

摘要： A suturing machine for suturing incised parts of a patient by producing continuous stitches by means of a curved needle and a shuttle includes a pair of grips terminated with jaws adapted to hold the curved needle which forms a thread loop on the parts to be sutured. A shuttle holder is slidably positioned on one of the grips to move the shuttle with a shuttle thread towards the curved needle to produce a lock stitch with the thread loop. The shuttle holder functions when the needle is standstill.

摘要： A fabric presser foot containing a member for guiding the hem of a fabric and a thread guide member disposed externally to the hem guide member and parallel to the fabric feed direction. Hemming is accomplished with the presser foot by forming a series stitch and a stitch for the subsequent stitching cycle. The series stitch contains at least two stitches formed on the fabric. Also formed is a stitch at the fabric hem, and a stitch formed externally to the thread guide member which is disposed on the fabric presser foot. The presser foot is attached to the head of the zigzag sewing machine which forms lock stitches using an upper and lower thread.

摘要： Stitches have once been formed in a sewing machine in four steps to produce a buttonhole, the number of the stitches to be used in each of the steps are stored in a memory, and the stitches in each step are formed with the number of stored stitches for following buttonhole such that all sizes of the buttonholes are made of the same size. The sewing machine is provided with a central circuit which includes a pattern selecting device which selects a cam from a plurality of pattern cams in correspondence to stitching of the designated step in producing the buttonholes. An electronic control device provided in the sewing machine stores the number of stitches formed in accordance with each of the steps with the memory designation, and a stitching mode check device designates a subsequent step in each of the steps. An indicating device provided in the central circuit indicates this designation, and the buttonhole is repeatedly formed. A machine motor control circuit stops a machine motor at completion of the number of stitches stored in each step and the machine motor again starts with selection of new patterns of the stitches.

摘要： A sewing machine which has a stitch-producing arrangement mounted on a housing and including a feeding device for selectively feeding the material to be sewn in one of two opposite feeding directions, and a needle reciprocable through the material and swingable transversely of the feeding directions when operated by a drive, comprises a stitch pattern control arrangement. The control arrangement includes a plurality of pattern cams rotated by the drive, a plurality of operator-controlled pattern selecting elements movable between operative and inoperative positions and a plurality of cam followers acted on by the selecting elements to engage the associated pattern cams in the operative position of the respective selecting element. A holder which holds the respective selecting element in its operative position and a feed adjusting arrangement which changes the feeding direction and discontinues the operation of the feeding device in dependence on which of the selecting elements is in its operative position are provided in the control arrangement. An operator-controlled needle-swing amplitude adjusting device is further provided, which is biased toward a first position and can be moved to a second position to displace the needle into a predetermined position and to cause the holder to release the respective selecting element then held thereby. The amplitude adjusting arrangement may include two cams one of which controls the displacement of the needle and the other the release of the holder.
