摘要： A method and apparatus are provided for increasing the accuracy of a branch predictor. A branch prediction table provides a first instance of a branch prediction value associated with an instruction being speculatively executed a first time; and provides a second instance of the branch prediction value associated with the instruction being speculatively executed a second rime. The first instance of the branch prediction value may be subsequently revised after the instruction associated with the first instance of the branch prediction value is retired. Information regarding whether that branch instruction was accurately predicted may then be used to update the branch prediction table and the second instance of the branch prediction value.

摘要： A combination measuring tape/chalk marker holder includes a main housing and a chalk retention pocket. The main housing has a main housing shell with a base and a back plate. The main housing is an equilateral triangular prismatic body with two outwardly curved lateral walls meeting at an apex. Within the housing, a locking reel holding a flexible measuring tape is releasably engaged with a locking hub formed on the back plate. The measuring tape extends through a portal formed in one of the outwardly curved lateral walls. The chalk retention pocket is fixed to and extends from the back plate. The pocket has a base parallel to and coextensive with the main housing base, two parallel lateral walls, and a flexible chalk retention member. The chalk retention pocket is flexible and removably retains a convex lensate marking body. A rotatable foot enables the holder to stand erect.

摘要： A case for tailor's chalk includes: (a) a generally triangular base with a central portion, a retaining pocket along one edge thereof, said pocket opening toward the center of said triangular base and a pair of offset base hinge elements adjacent the pocket located adjacent opposed ends of said pocket along said one edge of said base; and (b) a generally triangular lid shaped and adapted to mate with the base and hinged thereto by a pair of mating offset lid hinge elements located along one edge of said generally triangular lid, said lid hinge elements being snap-fit mateable with said base hinge elements, the offset between said generally triangular base and said generally triangular lid being sufficient to define a storage cavity for the chalk in a closed position, the lid having a central portion opposing the central portion of the base in said closed position, the lid being coupled to the base so as to be rotatable with respect thereto to an open position where the lid is rotated by 180° with respect to the closed position and the chalk is accessible and wherein further the lid is rotatable with respect to the base to a work stand position where the lid is rotated by more than 270° with respect to the closed position such that the base is in an erect open position leaning at least slightly rearwardly where the chalk is accessible to a user.

The through bore is adapted to have beading cable passed therethrough. The crimping bead also has a crimping bore intersecting the through bore. The crimping plunger is disposed therein in interference fit with the crimping bore. When the crimping plunger is urged into the crimping bore, the crimping plunger retains the beading cable against the sidewall of the through bore.

摘要： An image based obstacle detection method. A camera mounted on a vehicle provides a set of image frames while the vehicle is in motion. The image frames define an image plane having a vertical aspect and a horizontal aspect. The relevancy of an object is determined by (i) selecting first and second feature points from the object that are spaced apart vertically in a first image frame; (ii) tracking the positions of the first and second feature points over at least a second image frame; and (iii) deciding the object to be relevant if the first and second feature points move dissimilar distances in physical space, within a tolerance, and deciding the object to be irrelevant otherwise. The motion of relevant objects is then estimated to determine if any relevant object is likely to become an obstacle to the vehicle.
