    • The present invention relates to a method for preparing a marker for the selective labeling of a protein produced by in vitro translation with fluorescent materials and biotin and a non-radioactive method for the selective labeling of the protein using said marker instead of employing radioisotopes. More particularly, the present invention provides the marker preparation with using only one type of tRNA prepared by using in vitro transcription instead of "all tRNA mixtures" and the marker can be used to selectively label only a target protein produced from a gene which is added to a reaction mixture by a user but not a protein being already present in the reaction mixture. The present invention further provides the selective labeling method for the protein, which is produced by in vitro translation, using the marker prepared thereby. Compared to the conventional method in which a protein marker is prepared by employing "all tRNA mixtures" as tRNA materials, and then used for labeling the protein, the present invention has many advantages in that the protein marker is more easily prepared or the labeled protein with said marker gives a more improved signal.
