SOLUTION: A method includes the steps for: multiplying a matrix which is a representation of large and sparse simultaneous linear equations, which is used to estimate motion between frames of a video file, by a vector which is a first vector estimation of a solution to the simultaneous linear equations and has a plurality of elements arranged in a certain order; generating a second vector estimation which is a solution to the simultaneous linear equations and is a product of the multiplying; and setting the solution to the simultaneous linear equations when the first and second vector estimations differ by less than a predetermined amount, wherein the matrix is multiplied by the respective elements of the vector in an order different from the order in which the elements are arranged in the vector, wherein the plurality of elements in the vector are multiplied in parallel. 摘要： A method of frame rate conversion uses both forward and backward local and global motion estimation (12a,12b) to calculate pixel values for an interpolated frame C to be inserted between a previous frame P and next frame N. In some embodiments, spatial and neighbouring predictors may be developed for pixel blocks. A small range block matching may be done for each predictor. A final or best motion vector for a block may be selected from a plurality of candidates based on votes from neighboring blocks. A global motion vector may be computed from plurality of selected motion vectors. A motion-compensated interpolation is computed based on two consecutive frames and both forward and backward local and global motion estimations.
