摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Chinese article error-detecting apparatus capable of solving the problem of using a wrong Chinese letter that results from the complication of a Chinese language. SOLUTION: An apparatus includes: a sentence subdividing module for subdividing a first erroneous character string into first sets of characters; a database containing a plurality of first correct character strings and a plurality of first indices; a candidate word generation module for obtaining a first index corresponding to the first set of characters and obtaining a corresponding first correct character string; a candidate sentence generation and scoring module for generating a best candidate sentence; and a display device for displaying Chinese characters and the best candidate sentence, wherein the first set of characters is constituted of arbitrary two continuous and non-continuous characters in the first erroneous character string, and the first index is constituted of arbitrary two continuous and non-continuous characters in the first correct character string.
