    • The present invention provides a novel amino-group-containing polymer (salt) and a production process therefor wherein the amino-group-containing polymer (salt) is a product by a process including the step of introducing amino groups into a grafted polymer having a polyether skeleton, and can make good use of the reactivity or cationic property of at least primary amino groups and further, according to circumstances, secondary amino groups, and further can display various performances, such as curability useful for various uses and adsorbency onto films or fibers. The novel amino-group-containing polymer (salt) is a product by a process including the steps of: carrying out a graft polymerization of a monoethylenically unsaturated monomer component onto a polyether compound, wherein the monoethylenically unsaturated monomer component includes an unsaturated carboxylic monomer as an essential component, and wherein the polyether compound has a specific repeating unit in a ratio of not less than 30 mol % and has a number-average molecular weight of not less than 150; and introducing amino groups by carrying out a ring-opening addition of an alkylenimine to at least a part of carboxyl group portions of the monoethylenically unsaturated monomer component which has been graft-polymerized onto the polyether compound, wherein at least a part of the amino groups might be neutralized with an acid.

    • The present invention provides an aqueous polymer dispersion which is advantageous in that the coating film as formed therefrom has excellent heat resistance even after being preserved at high temperature, and further has excellent transparency without possibility of becoming white turbid even when the drying temperature during the formation of the coating film is a low temperature of not higher than 100° C., and in that, when used as a release agent, the aqueous polymer dispersion will be an aqueous release agent which undergoes no deterioration of the releasibility even after being preserved at high temperature, and further, has excellent transparency. In the aqueous polymer dispersion, particles of grafted polymer (b) are dispersed in water, wherein grafted polymer (b) includes backbone polymer (a) and a hydrocarbon group with not fewer than 8 carbon atoms in a side chain, with the aqueous polymer dispersion being characterized in that: backbone polymer (a) has a weight-average molecular weight of not less than 20,000, and/or grafted polymer (b) has a viscosity of not lower than 50 mP·s at 60° C. in the form of a toluene solution as diluted to 40 weight %, and further in that the particles of grafted polymer (b) are finely dispersed in water in a state of the volume-average partide diameter less than 0.3 &mgr;m.

    • The present invention provides a release coating composition which is easy to coat on a matter to be coated and forms a release coating composition layer having high heat resistance and difficulty in release coat transfer to an adhesive layer, and also provides a release sheet having a release coating composition layer of which heat resistance is high and release coat transfer to an adhesive layer is hard to occur. The release coating composition comprises: (A) an addition product between a polyamine compound having at least two of an active hydrogen-containing amino group per one molecule and a monoisocyanate compound having an alkyl group of 8 or more in carbon number; (B) a compound having, per one molecule, at least two of a functional group reactive with an active hydrogen of the amino group; and (C) at least one kind of diluent selected from an organic solvent and water. The release sheet comprises a sheet type base material and a release coating composition layer which has attached to at least one face of the base material and been converted into one united body with the base material, wherein the release coating composition layer comprises a reaction product between the components (A) and (B) of the release coating composition.
