    • A rotary motion detection device consists essentially of a signal generator (9) with inner teeth or inner projections (10) and a double-face measurement coil (8, 8') arranged inside the surface surrounded by the signal generator (9). The measurement coil has a core made of permanent magnets (15, 16, 20) and projecting pole pieces (17, 18, 19, 21) on both sides of the coil that extend up to the inner surface of the signal generator (9).
