摘要： Hydraulic cement or the like is poured into a closed mould under a reduced pressure condition to a level slightly higher than a predetermined level. Coarse aggregate and steel rodes are prepacked in the mould. After pouring the pressure in the mould is increased to atmospheric pressure or a higher pressure to force the hydraulic cement above the predetermined level back into the space below the level thus compacting the poured in hydraulic cement. A cushion device is provided for the pouring device. An overflow tank is connected to the mould to observe the level of the poured cement. The pressure in the overflow tank is also decreased during pouring and increased after pouring. In this way substantially all the excess water and entrained air is removed from the hydraulic cement before it is poured. By reducing the pressure in the mould pouring of hydraulic cement into the mould is facilitated. The produces so formed are dense and have high mechanical strength.

摘要： When manufacturing a green concrete or mortar by admixing and kneading premeasuared amounts of at least one of fine and coarse aggregates, a powder of an hydraulic substance, at least one additive, and predetermined quantity of water, an improvement is provided. The improvement comprises the steps of: 1) dividing the predetermined quantity of water into only two predetermined quantitative portions; 2) incorporating a major portion or all of the additive into a first one of the divided predetermined quantitative water portions; 3) admixing the aggregate and all the admixture of the first predetermined quantitative water portion and the additive, thereby uniformly to pre-coat the aggregate with water; 4) admixing the powder of the hydraulic substance and any remaining quantitative portion of the additive and the mixture resulting from step 3); 5) admixing all the other predetermined quantitative portion of the water to the mixture of the hydraulic substance resultfrom step 4); and kneading the resulting mixture, thereby to form the green concrete or mortar. In this way, it is possible to prepare a green composition, more particularly, green mortar or green concrete having a small percentage of bleeding water. It is also possible to obtain concrete products having high mechanical strength and in which rusting of reinforcing steel bars can be reduced.

摘要： A method and apparatus are provided for manufacturing articles made of hydraulic cement. The method includes the steps of preparing a plurality of moulding spaces adapted to be closed in a hermetic manner and having sufficient pressure-proof against the inner pressure therein, which pressure is raised during introduction and heat curing of hydraulic cement; introducing hydraulic cement into the mounding spaces substantially to fill the same by utilizing the pressure difference between the inner side and the outer side of the moulding space; indirectly heat curing the hydraulic cement substantially completely around the same immediately after the introduction of the cement is finished, the temperature thereof being rapidly raised up to more than 60.degree.C, and releasing the cured articles from the moulding spaces. The apparatus includes a vertical stack of a plurality of moulds, each including a side frame and a hollow bed overlying the side frame; sealing means interposed between the side frames and the beds for hermetically sealing the moulds; means for releasably interconnecting the stacked moulds; means for reducing the pressure in the moulds; means for pouring the hydraulic cement into the moulds; means for admitting a heating medium into said hollow beds, for indirectly heat curing said hydraulic substance poured into said moulds. This invention thus enables the manufacture of moulded articles of cement having high mechanical strength in a short time, and yet which can be readily removed from the moulds.

摘要： A plurality of moulds each including a side frame and a hollow bed overlying the side frame are vertically stacked with sealing members interposed between the beds and the side frames for hermetically sealing the moulds. While the pressure in the moulds is being reduced a hydraulic substance such as cement is poured into the moulds. The poured hydraulic substance is heat cured to produce solid articles releasable from the moulds. An empty mould is added to one side of the stack while a mould containing the cured substance is removed from the other side of the stack. Alternatively, the process can be carried out according to a batch system. The moulds may be packed with aggregate, fittings or means for interconnecting the articles.
