    • PURPOSE:To feed a large number of specimens into an experimental furnace, by forming the feed-in/feed-out port of the specimen to the under surface of a specimen magazine and providing an revolving mechanism revolving between the position below the specimen magazine and the position below the experimental furnace to the lower part of a frame. CONSTITUTION:After a grasping part 17 is raised to be engaged with the head part of a specimen 7, the specimen 7 is rotated by a rotary device 21 to release the fixing of the specimen to a specimen magazine 8. Next, the grasping part 17 is allowed to fall to take out the specimen 7 from the specimen magazine 8 through a feed-in/feed- out port 10. Thereafter, the rotary body 13 of a rotary mechanism 12 is revolved to the side of an experimental furnace 3 and stopped when the specimen 7 is positioned directly under the feed-in/feed-out port 11 of the experimental furnace 3 and the grasping part 17 is allowed to rise to insert the specimen 7 in the experimental furnace 3 to fix the same in a rotatable manner and the grasping part 17 is subsequently allowed to fall. After the finish of the experiment in the experimental furnace 3, the treated specimen 7 is returned to the original position of the specimen magazine 8 by the procedure reverse to the above mentioned operation and the new specimen 7 is inserted in the experimental furnace 3.

    • PURPOSE:To generate ultrahigh pressure easily by forming a divided sphere comprising >=4 truncated pyramids having spherical bases which are movable freely toward central direction with each other, and providing a vertically bisectable vessel covering the whole body of the divided sphere. CONSTITUTION:A positioning pin 8 is inserted into each pin hole 8a bored in the recessed part of the hemisphere 6 with the tip end of the pin protruded from the pin hole. Positioning of the divided body 5 is executed by assembling the divided body 5 by fitting the side surface of the divided body 5 to the pin 8. By this process, each divided body is positioned, and adjacent divided bodies 5 are held with a small distance corresponding to the dia. of the pin 8 from each other. If the divided body is divided into six parts, 3-4 bodies are first assembled, then, a material to be compressed such as graphite is contained in a pressurizing chamber 1 formed in the central part, then residual divided bodies 5 are assembled thereafter to form a spherical body as a whole which is a dividable sphere 2.
