    • PURPOSE:To provide a titled device which eliminates vapor pipes to make the device compact and equipment cost low by contg. a precondenser connecting to a vapor ejector in the top of a vacuum deaerating column. CONSTITUTION:In a vacuum deaerating column 1, the makeup water supplied through an introducing pipe 6 for makeup water is brought into contact with the stripping vapor supplied through a vapor pipe 9 in packed layers 7 and is deaerated under negative pressure. The deaerated water is supplied from the bottom of the column through a discharge pipe 9 for deaerated water to an evaporator (not shown). In order to maintain the inside of the column 1 under the negative pressure which is nearly a vaccum, a barometric condenser 2 as a precondenser is contained in the column 1, and gas and vapor 12 are cooled with the cooling water supplied through a cooling water supply pipe 10. The vapor is condensed and is discharged through a discharge pipe 11 for cooling water and drains. The non-condensed gas is fed to a vapor ejector 3.

    • PURPOSE: To improve the responsiveness to an abrupt change in load, by constituting a titled device of a measuring device for the concn. of hydrogen ions provided in a supply line for sea water, a calculator which calculates the quantity relation between sea water and sulfuric acid and a controller which controls a feed pump for sulfuric acid.
      CONSTITUTION: The pH value of the sea water in the outlet of a decarbonation column 1 is measured with a pH measuring device 11, and the measuring electrical signal corresponding to said value is inputted to a calculator 13. The flow rate of the sea water is measured with a flowmeter 12 for sea water and is inputted to a calculator 13. A set pH value and the measured pH value are compared and the deviation thereof is calculated in the calculator 13, which then calculates the quantity relation between the sea water and sulfuric acid for eliminating the deviation in the pH values and outputs a command electrical signal to a controller 14. The electric signal thereof is inputted to the controller 14 and an electric control signal is fed to a feed pump 9 for sulfuric acid from the controller 14, and the pump 9 is controlled in such a way that the pH value of the sea water flowing in the 1st line 5 for supplying sea water attains a set value.

CONSTITUTION:Sea water is passed through a preheater in turn from low temperature utility tubes to high temperature utility tubes. The preheater consists of a sea water preheating heat fransfer tube 3 and a water chamber 10. The sea water is introduced through a sea water inlet nozzle 13 into a sea water reservoir 4. Heated steam which becomes thermal input of an evaporator, is introduced through a steam nozzle 9 into the maximum temperature utility tube. The sea water preheating heat transfer tube 3 and a long boiling heat transfer tube 2 are heated externally by the sea water. The sea water is condensed flows into a reservoir 18. Sea water within the heated heat fransfer tube 2 is boiled, ascends, and is jetted from the upper part of the tube 2. The sea water is reflected by a crown plate 11 of the upper space 5, and descends a passage formed by a partitioning plate 7 and a gas-liquid separation promoting partitioning plate 6. Steam turns at the lower part of the partitioning plate 6 in another direction at an angle of 180 deg.. The steam ascends a passage formed by the partitioning plates 6 and 8, and is introduced into a next utility tubes.

    • PURPOSE:To decrease the pressure drop of steam occurring in tube bundles by decreasing the diameter of the tube bundles and to improve heat exchanging performance by forming a condenser in each stage into a double pass type, bisecting each tube bundle at the side partition wall and using each thereof for single pass. CONSTITUTION:The flow of the low-temp. water in the heat transmission tubes in one stage 1 flows like an arrow 10 with respect to one tube bundle 8a, and enters the outflow chamber 12 thereof. The water from the chamber 12 flows through a communicating tube 14 and enters the inflow chamber 13 of the other tube bundle 8a. The water flows in the opposite direction like an arrow 11 with respect to the other tube bundle 8b. More specifically, the low temp. water in one stage 1 flows to the adjacent stage after performing exactly a U turn and the similar operation is repeated in each stage as well. If such constitution is incorporated, the diameter of the tube bundle is decreased and the pressure drop of steam occurring in the tube bundle is decreased, whereby the heat exchanging performance is remarkably improved.

    • PURPOSE: To correct the fluctuation in the load of a sea water desalting device quickly and to stabilize the output, by providing an independent control system for a heat generation system and controlling a heat utilization system and the heat generation system discretely.
      CONSTITUTION: The temp. of the high temp. water flowing through a piping system 5 for circulating water is measured with a detector 19 for outlet temp. and the output thereof is put into a temp. indicating controller 20 by which the temp. is compared and calculated with a preset value. The opening of a control valve 16 for the flow rate of bleeding is controlled by the output from the controller 20. The outlet temp. of the circulating water is maintained at a prescribed value as the inflow rate of bleeding to an intermediate indirect heat exchanger 3 is increased or decreased by the opening or closing of the valve 16. The circulating water is supplied through a flash tank 6 and a piping system 8 for circulating steam to the brine heater 9 of a desalting device 17 for sea water. Since the outlet temp. is kept constant in a heat generation system C, the circulating steam is supplied at a specified temp. and the fluctuation in the load of the heater 9 is suppressed thoroughly only by controlling the opening of a control valve 15 for the flow rate of steam.

In addition, the control signal is inputted as a setting signal through a computer 36 into a controller 37 for the outlet temperature of a brine heater to control a regulator 28. When a higher liquid level switch S is driven, its signal is fed to the flow rate-controller 35 to interlock the output level of the controller 35 in spite of any signals from a flow rate detector 17 and the computer 34. When the liquid level recovers a normal state, the interlock is released. Consequently, faulty conditions on operation caused by the abnormal rise of the liquid level can be eliminated.
