SOLUTION: The end edge is fixed to the upper part of a side wall of a water storage tank body constituted of the bottom wall and side wall and is built in a catenary shape to provide a tendon, a flexible membrane body provided on the tendon and covering the water storage tank body is formed by having an overflow nozzle of a cylindrical member passing through the central part of the flexible membrane body and projected upward, and the water storage tank roof is so formed that a covered strength material put on the flexible membrane body is rigidified in a catenary strained state.

    • PURPOSE:To provide the umbrella shaped roof strong against wind and excellent in shielding by rotatably installing roof frames in a radial shape onto a ring which is loosely fitted to a pole erected on the ground surface in such a way as to be freely moved up and down, supporting them with a square stick, and stretching a sheet over the upper surfaces of them. CONSTITUTION:A pole 1 which is made slender at its upper section, and thickened at its root section, is erected over the ground surface, and a ring 2 is loosely fitted on the pole, which is moved up and down along the pole 1 as a guide. A plurality of roof frames 3 each of which is in a down facing U shape in cross section or a U shape, are rotatably installed onto the ring 2 at their upper sections C so as to be installed in a radial shape, and the upper surfaces of them are covered with a sheet 5. The lower end section of a square stick 4 is rotatably fixed to the position S high as specified of the pole 1, and its upper end section is rotatably installed on to the intermediate section M of each roof frame 3. The ring 2 and a winch 7 provided at the lower end section of the pole 1 are connected with a steel rope which is guided by pulleys 9 provided for the upper end and the intermediate section of the pole 1, and the roof frames 3 are opened/closed in an umbrella shape while their lower end sections E are being horizontally moved with the ring 2 moved up and down. Besides, the lower end section E of the roof frame 3 is moored to an anchor 10 buried in the ground surface by a steel rope 6.

SOLUTION: A tendon 4 with end edges fixed and hung around in the catenary shape is provided on the upper sections of side walls 3 of a storage tank main body 1 formed of a bottom wall 2 and side walls 3, and the peripheral edges of a flexible film 5 provided on the tendon 4 are airtightly fixed on the upper sections of the side walls 3, and then the interior of the storage tank main body 1 is vacuumized and the flexible film 5 is set in the catenary-shaped tension state, and a coating strength material 6 to be turned rigid after setting is provided on the upper face of the flexible film 5, and after the coating strength material 6 is turned rigid, the vacuum state inside the storage tank main body 1 is released to construct a storage tank roof.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent water from stagnating in a tank and cause to flesh water which has flowed in to flow out in a relatively short time, by composing the hermetically sealed lower end of a tank main body out of a semielliptic end plate, and by radially attaching swirl vanes to the inner side of the end plate, with the center of the end plate being as their axis. SOLUTION: An emergency tank for use as a water distribution facility in a normal circumstance is in the form of a hard, cylindrical tank whose cylindrical body 7 is hermetically sealed at its upper and lower ends, and the hermetically sealed lower end is composed of a semielliptic end plate 6B. Swirl vanes 8B are radially attached to the inner side of the end plate 6B, and the front end of an inlet pipe 3 or outlet pipe 4 is open at the center of the end plate 6B with the swirl vanes 8B attached to it. Thus, water which has flowed down into the tank 1 enters the outlet pipe 4 by being guided by the swirl vanes 8B and flows out of the tank, thereby causing the water in the tank to flow down swirlingly, and the fresh water which has flowed in is, therefore, caused to flow out in a relatively short time to be replaced.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the number of temporary works and machine parts and to promote security by securing a flexible film body covering the upper part of a storage tank body consisting of a bottom slab and side walls 3 to the upper parts of the side walls, and forming a concrete body containing reinforcing bars to the outside. CONSTITUTION:The circumferential edge of a flexible film body 6 covering the upper part of a storage tank body 1 consisting of a bottom slab 2 and side walls 3 is fixed air-tightly to the upper parts of the side walls 3 through fixed rings 5. After that, the blast to the inside of the body 1 is made from a blower 10 to boost the inside, and the projection shaped film body 6 with a necessary curvature is formed. Then, a concrete body 8 containing reinforcing bars is formed on the outside of the film body 6 extended in a state of tensile force. A breakdown preventive protection layer 7 of the film body 6 is provided on the outside of the film body 6, and a bearing layer 9 may be provided to the inside of the film body 6. According to the constitution, a concrete roof having a required shape is easily formed and, at the same time, security in the event of construction can be secured.

An outer peripheral section is fixed on the central side of end plate 1C of the swirl vanes 7 while a recessed surface is directed towards the inflow port 6 in a flow deflecting plate 8 formed of a steel plate, etc., in a spherical shape recess or a conical shape recess. High-pressure city water injected at high speed from the inflow port 6 collides with the flow deflecting plate 8 and the flow of the city water is changed along the flow deflecting plate 8, and the city water is turned and flowed along the end plate 1C while high speed is kept and the city water is guided and swirled by a plurality of the swirl vanes 7, on which the flow deflecting plate 8 is fixed, flowed towards a downstream while speed is decreased in the horizontal cylindrical drum 1S of the tank body 1B having a large sectional area, and returned to a water service main pipe from an outflow pipe 3. Accordingly, fresh water can be stored into the tank 1 at all times, and dead water is not also generated.
