摘要： The present invention discloses improvements in a service registry in the SOA and relevant improvements in service propagation, query, and service selection and routing methods during service invocation. Said service registry is connected with a local service domain and a remote service registry and comprises: a local service information manager for registering local services in the local service domain, a local service information repository connected with the local service information manager, for storing service metadata of the local services; wherein said service registry further comprises: a remote service information manager connected with the local service information manager and the remote service registry, for receiving a remote service index from the remote service registry; and a remote service information repository connected to said remote service information manager, for storing the remote service index received from the remote service registry. By using said service registry, it is easy for realizing service control and sharing among different service registries.

摘要： The present invention provides a Web based unified communication system and method, and Web based communication manger. In the present invention, generating a SMIL document, based on a communication request from a terminal, for starting and controlling a communication session between the terminal and corresponding terminals, and controlling the terminals and communication channels involved in the communication session to work collectively so as to perform the communication session by interpreting and executing the SMIL document. In the invention, instead of being a kind of supplementation, the Web technique should become the core technique of such systems. Further, in the invention, terminal may be a set of user devices, the set of user devices includes one or more devices, each of said devices provides media interaction capabilities for one or more communication channels, and each of said devices is mapped to one or more media objects in said SMIL document. Therefore, various devices may work collectively to perform a communication session.

In one embodiment of the invention, a data processing system comfigured for host sensing for message interruption can include a messenger disposed is a host computing platform, prioritization logic including program code enabled to assign priorities to incoming messages, and host state sensing logic coupled to the host computing platform. The host state sensing logic can include program code enabled to adjust a threshold value for permitting message interruptions for messages having assigned priorities beyond the threshold value .
