摘要： A method and apparatus for transmitting and receiving orthogonal frequency division multiplex (OFDM)-based transmissions are disclosed. Control information may be transmitted at least one symbol prior to the corresponding data symbols so that a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) has time to determine which parts of the subcarriers need to be received without having to buffer any corresponding data symbols. Control information related to frequency location of the data may be received in the first subframe and control information not related to the frequency location of the data may be received in the second subframe that includes the corresponding data. The offset between the control information and the data may be a fixed value, may be received from the network, or may be included in the control information preceding the corresponding data.

摘要： A method and an apparatus for performing physical layer security operation are disclosed. A physical layer performs measurements continuously, and reports the measurements to a medium access control (MAC) layer. The MAC layer processes the measurements, and sends a security alert to a security manager upon detection of an abnormal condition based on the measurements. The security manager implements a counter-measure upon receipt of the security alert. The measurements include channel impulse response (CIR), physical medium power measurement, automatic gain control (AGC) value and status, automatic frequency control (AFC) gain and status, analog-to-digital converter (ADC) gain, Doppler spread estimate, and/or short preamble matched filter output. The security manager may switch a channel, switch a channel hopping policy, change a back-off protocol, or change a beamforming vector upon reception of the security alert.

摘要： Techniques may be used for interference measurement and management in directional mesh networks, including centralized and/or distributed approaches. A centralized node, such as an operations and maintenance (OAM) center, may use feedback from nodes in the mesh network to partition the nodes in the mesh network into clusters based on interference levels. Interference measurement reports may be used by the centralized node to update cluster membership. An initiating node in the mesh network may use topographical information to generate an initial interference cluster, and interference measurement frame (IMF) scheduling information may be used to schedule transmissions within the interference clusters. Techniques for opportunistic measurement campaigns, simultaneous measurement campaigns, link failure detection, and link re-acquisition in directional mesh networks may also be used.

摘要： Methods and systems for enabling MU-MIMO functions on a UE are disclosed. A precoder codebook with precoding matrices can be generated to assist in improving system throughput. Existing specifications designed for two bit precoding information can be used to communicate higher numbers of bits of precoding information by reinterpreting fields described by such specifications. Channel state information can be provided to a base station using several disclosed feedback mechanisms. A UE can determine a current MIMO transmission mode using various implicit and explicit dynamic signaling mechanisms or semi-dynamic signaling where MIMO mode data is received from a higher layer.

摘要： Disclosed herein are methods and systems for uplink control feedback design in relation to the high speed dedicated physical control channel (HS-DPCCH). First uplink data may be transmitted on a HS-DPCCH to a first serving cell and a second serving cell, where the first serving cell may be used as a timing reference cell for the uplink transmission. The first serving cell may be associated with a first NodeB and the second serving cell may be associated with a second NodeB. First downlink data may be received from the first serving cell and second downlink data may be received from the second serving cell. A timing reference for uplink transmission may be changed such that the second serving cell may be used as the timing reference cell. Second uplink data may be transmitted on the HS-DPCCH using the second serving cell as the timing reference cell.
