    • Providing control (scheduling) information for multi-carrier uplink transmission are disclosed. A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may set a happy bit for enhanced dedicated channel (E-DCH) transmissions on each uplink carrier considering aggregated transmission capability over all uplink carriers. The happy bit is set to "unhappy" if the WTRU is transmitting as much scheduled data as allowed by a current serving grant, the WTRU has enough power available to transmit at a higher rate, and total E-DCH buffer status (TEBS) requires more than a pre-conf igured period to be transmitted with a current effective data rate aggregated over all uplink carriers. The WTRU may send scheduling information including power headroom measured on the anchor (primary) uplink carrier and/or power headroom measured on the supplementary (secondary) uplink carrier. For power headroom measurements, the WTRU may initiate a short-lived dedicated physical control channel loop on the supplementary carrier.

    • A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may send a bundled transmission of a packet repeatedly over at least two consecutive transmission time intervals (TTIs). The WTRU may not process a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback for the packet after sending the bundled transmission. The bundled transmission may be configured per HARQ process. The WTRU may override the bundled transmission and may transmit a HARQ retransmission of another packet in one of the TTIs scheduled for the bundled transmission if a TTI scheduled for the HARQ retransmission of another packet overlaps the TTIs scheduled for the bundled transmission. Alternatively, the WTRU may transmit a non-bundled transmission of a packet and send a bundled HARQ transmission of the packet on a condition that HARQ feedback indicates a failure of delivery of the packet. The WTRU may not process an HARQ feedback in an E-HICH for the packet after sending the bundled transmission.

    • A method and an apparatus for performing uplink hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) transmission in a burst are disclosed. A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may transmit a transmission burst over at least two consecutive transmission time intervals (TTIs) via a HARQ process configured for transmission burst. An E-DCH dedicated physical control channel (E-DPCCH) power offset may be set to the transmission burst-specific E-DPCCH gain factor value. The WTRU may calculate a power of the E-DPCCH by dividing a conventional E-DPCCH power offset by a total number of TTIs in the transmission burst. The WTRU may transmit the E-DPCCH only during a first TTI of the transmission burst. The supported E-TFCs may be a second set of supported E-TFCs determined only for use with the transmission burst. The WTRU may determine the set of supported E-TFCs and the E-TFC for transmission based on a number of TTIs in the transmission burst.
