The WTRU may register with a first home agent, wherein the first home agent receives a plurality of messages addressed for a home address. The home agent may forward the messages to the WTRU at a first care-of-address. The WTRU may send a binding update to the first home agent. The binding update may comprise a second traffic selector and a second action. The second action may specify that a second message of the plurality of messages is to be forwarded to a different WTRU when the second message matches the second traffic selector.

摘要： Mobile IP (MIP) protocol may be used to transfer a communication flow between nodes. An indication to transfer the communication flow is received at a first node, and the first node sends a communication flow transfer request via mobile internet protocol. The request is received by a network device. The network device forwards the request for delivery to the second node. The network device receives a response to the request originated from the second node via mobile internet protocol, and instructs a correspondence node to transfer the communication flow to the second node. Upon receiving a response indicating that the communication flow transfer request has been accepted, the first node terminates the communication flow at the first node. The second node resumes the transferred communication flow.

摘要： Methods and apparatus for bookmarking streaming media sessions are disclosed. Bookmarks may be used for hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) streaming media sessions and may support pause and resume functionalities. The bookmarks may be stored at a server or may be stored at a client. The bookmarks may use current HTTP functionalities or may modify existing HTTP functionalities. Methods and apparatus for inter-device session transfer of a streaming media session with bookmarking support are also disclosed. A device currently streaming a media session may initiate the session transfer or a target device may initiate the session transfer. A bookmark may be explicitly requested and stored at the server by a device, may be part of an inter-wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) transfer command sent to a server, or may be sent directly from one device to another device.

摘要： A method is described for establishing an end-to-end multipath connection between two peers using of a multi-connection transport protocol (MCTP) architecture. The MCTP architecture may include a packet scheduler, a queue configured to store a plurality of packets received from the packet scheduler in a particular sequence, a sub-flow manager configured to distribute the packets among a plurality of sub-flows, wherein at least two of the sub-flows are synchronized, and a synchronized congestion controller (SCC) configured to control congestion of the synchronized sub-flows. A first transmission control protocol (TCP) positive acknowledgement (ACK) may be generated when a first TCP packet is received over one of the synchronized sub-flows. Duplicate TCP packets received after the first TCP packet is received may be discarded. ACKs received after the first ACK may be discarded if they correspond to a TCP packet that was already acknowledged.

摘要： A method and an apparatus for supporting handover between a first network supporting proxy mobile IP (PMIP) and a second network supporting mobile IP (MIP) are disclosed. A PMIP entity in the first network may perform home agent (HA) discovery such that the PMIP entity may select an HA that responds with a pre-determined code indicating that a binding entry for the WTRU exists in the HA. The PMIP entity may store the HA IP address in an authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA) server. The PMIP entity may retrieve the HA IP address for the WTRU from the AAA server when the WTRU is readmitted, and perform a binding update using the HA IP address. A media independent handover (MIH) client may trigger an HA discovery to obtain an HA IP address without performing MIP registration. The MIP client may retain the HA IP address when disabled.
