摘要： Techniques discussed herein can facilitate multi-transmission reception point (multi-TRP) operation for new radio (NR). One example apparatus may be employed at a user equipment (UE), and may comprise: an interface configured to enable the UE to communicate with two or more TRPs; and a processor that is configured to generate uplink control information (UCI) for each o fthe TRPs, schedule single or multiple uplink channels to carry the UCI, so that the UCI is transmitted individually or in combination to the TRPs via the interface, wherein the uplink channels comprise NR physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) and/or NR physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH). Techniques discussed herein also can facilitate demodulation reference signal design for short physical uplink control channel carrying more than 2-bit UCI for new radio.

The apparatus includes one or more processors to encode a two part CSI including: encode a two part CSI including: encoding information bits of a first channel state information (CSI) type and information bits of a second CSI part to generate, respectively, encoded bits of a first CSI part and encoded bits of a second CSI part, a payload size of the second CSI part being based on encoded bits of the first CSI part and further being encoded separately from information bits of the first CSI part; and mapping the encoded bits of the first CSI part onto a first physical resource and the encoded bits of the second CSI part onto a second physical resource different from the first physical resource; and configure the two part CSI in a long or short PUCCH for transmission to a NR evolved Node B (gNodeB).

摘要： In one embodiment, an apparatus includes memory storing instructions and processing circuitry coupled to the memory. The processing circuitry is to implement the instructions to select a resource block group (RBG) size configuration from a set of RBG size configurations based on a bandwidth part (BWP) size. Each RBG size configuration is to indicate RBG sizes associated with respective ranges of BWP sizes, and the RBG sizes are to indicate a number of frequency-domain physical resource blocks (PRBs) for physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) or physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmissions. The processing circuitry is further to implement the instructions to allocate PRBs for communication between the gNB device and a user equipment (UE) device via the PDSCH or PUSCH transmissions based on the selected RBG size, and to encode downlink control information (DCI) that indicates the allocated PRBs for transmission to the UE device.

摘要： A User Equipment (UE) and a Radio Access Network (RAN) node may be configured to use multiple Scheduling Request (SR) configurations. A SR configuration may indicate to radio resources to be used to communicate a SR to the RAN node. The RAN node may provide UE with information associating logical channels to SR configurations. When the UE has data to transmit to the RAN node, the UE may determine the logical channel corresponding to the data, determine the SR configuration corresponding to the logical channel, and communicate a SR to the RAN node in accordance with the SR configuration. Upon receiving the SR, the RAN node determine the SR configuration used to transmit the SR and in turn determine the logical channel for which the SR was transmitted. The RAN node may then transmit an Uplink (UL) grant for the logical channel to the UE.

In embodiments, an apparatus for a user equipment (UE) may include memory to store a rank indicator (RI), a precoding matrix index (PMI), and a channel quality indicator (CQI) of channel state information (CSI) for the UE. The apparatus may further include circuitry to concatenate the RI, the PMI, and the CQI to produce a concatenated CSI element, generate a CSI report that includes the concatenated CSI element, and cause the CSI report to be transmitted to a base station within a single slot.
