摘要： Fibers, yarns, woven fabric including the yarns and fibers, and methods of manufacturing the same are disclosed. Fibers can include base material staple fibers (102) and dissolvable or water-soluble fibers. At least the base material staple fiber is mixed and cleaned to form a base material web or sliver. The clean base material web or sliver is then intimately mixed with the dissolvable fibers in a blow room to form a homogeneously-mixed base material / dissolvable material sliver. The homogeneously-mixed base material / dissolvable material sliver is then blended again during drawing so as to produce a twice-mixed, ultra-homogeneous yarn comprising base material and dissolvable material. A processing step can allow for removal of the dissolvable fibers to produce a yarn (228') defining a plurality of pores (P) that are uniformly distributed throughout the structure of the yarn.

摘要： A fitted bed sheet 10 for at least partially encasing a mattress comprises a top 12, front 18 and rear 20 panels, with first 14 and second 16 side panels. The top panel is stretchable along its length wherein when retracted the length of the top panel is between about 12% – 21% less than the length of the mattress and expanded the length of the top panel is similar to the length of the mattress. Preferably when retracted the width of the top panel is similar to the width of the mattress and when expanded the width is similar to the width of the mattress. The top panel may comprise a stretchable fabric of a blend of cotton and Spandex (RTM) and may have a fibre material selected from the group consisting of cotton, polyester, cellulosic, synthetic and biocomponent fibres. Rubber or elastic thread 40 may secure together four stitched-together corners. Preferably a V-stitch extends from an end of each of the four stitched-together corners or seems 30. The fitted bed sheet may provide snug fitting engagement with at least two mattresses comprising differing lengths.
