摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for supporting the formation of a parting line (PL) of a mold.
SOLUTION: A user is allowed to designate a PL forming position in a state wherein a product shape is displayed on the screen of a computer (step 1) and a reference axis for adjusting a slide direction and the mating surface of a slide is led out from the designated PL forming position (step 2). A temporary determination mode is selected in an initial state (step 3) and the PL is formed using the PL forming position and the mating surface shape of the slide is formed from the formed PL and the reference axis (step 4). The formed PL is displayed (step 5) and confirmed by the user (step 6). Further, the shape of the mold split by the formed PL is formed and displayed (step 7) and confirmed by the user (step 8). In a case that the PL and the shape of the mold are not intended by the user, the user is allowed to alter the temporary determination mode to an adjusting mode (step 3), and the predetermined adjustment of the PL is made corresponding to the designation of the user (step 9).
