    • A worm gear for converting a rotational motion into a reciprocating motion has a threaded spindle (2) which is mounted via at least one needle bearing (5) in a working ring nut (22) which acts as a housing (21).     • The invention concerns a hydraulically operated disengagement device (1) for a vehicle friction clutch for selectively separating and connecting two shafts. The device comprises a pressure housing (3) mounted on a gearbox case (9) and fitted concentrically with a gear input shaft. A guide sleeve (4) is fitted in the longitudinal bore (7) of the pressure housing so as to leave a radial gap; this serves to create a pressure chamber (8) of annular cross-section in which an annular piston (5) is guided. According to the invention, the guide sleeve (4) is provided on its end facing the gearbox case (9) with a ring flange (10) which on its outside has an annular shoulder extending in both axial directions, or alternatively has sections (12) which stand out axially in sections and point in both axial directions; the annular shoulder or sections, as appropriate, fit into the pressure housing (3) and engage with a peripheral groove (15) in the gearbox case (9) in order to centre the disengagement device (1). The pressure housing (3) has a wall (19) which extends out from a support flange (21) and whose axial extension covers the clutch throughout bearing (2) in its neutral position.
